Hope you all enjoy the vid. Truly one of the coolest machines we’ve built. Just so you know, the bunker had 5 layers of reinforcement so we were safe 😊 excited to show you the insane cuts we get in Katana vid 2 👍

10 seconds in I was like "At least one Katana blade is absolutely going to fly off and impale something........"
  • @chrisnotap
What happened at the start was a RUD......Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly!
  • @BrianPoppe
With the GoPro shot from under the blades, I noticed there was a point where the frame rate matched with the rpm and it looked stationary. What if you found that rate and then dropped stuff so it looks like things are just falling into pieces?
  • @sinajakelic
all those katana blades flew out and no one died. God was merciful
  • @madair00
That was incredible. The sound of the blades revved up was haunting.
  • @davepitts4479
I have never been more concerned for your safety than I was today. When those katanas broke loose that was scary!
  • @fredmartin5175
Sword Machine vs. Melon is going to be tough to beat for Slowie Of The Year.... Watching those blades flex was absolutely bonkers! Wonderful job, fellas!
  • @anaussieplays763
The "that's not in 1 piece anymore" special by Gauns is always so warm to the heart
  • @ThaBeatConductor
It's always fun seeing solid steel turn into noodles due to force applied. Good job.

How Ridiculous is the perfect blend of comedy, cool builds, and science. That is why they are one of my favorite YouTube channels of all time. Great video guys keep on making great content.
  • @RecologySpencer
One of the funnest videos yet! So entertaining to watch everything be cut so fast and in such high quality - those golf ball cuts were BEYOND clean!
  • @brycereed4743
When the blades reach the speed of "looks like its going in reverse" speed is insane to me.
  • @srogers500
You could have a channel just throwing stuff in that monstrosity in slo-mo 24/7. It's hypnotic.
  • @raharodriguezOBJ
My first thought after seeing the trailer was "Do they even know how katanas are assembled and fixed on their handles?" They were lucky enough that they didn't have any casualties upon firing that thing up.
  • @redsquirrelftw
The sound it makes makes it so terrifying lol. The way the swords bend in that last one is pretty insane. Slowmo reveals a lot of stuff that we had no idea goes on when objects interact, it's pretty interesting.
  • @J_Double_C
This is definitely in the top 5 coolest things you guys have ever done and that’s saying something
  • @christollefson
Absolutely amazing! The golf ball slow motion was some of the most enjoyable video you guys have captured. Great job!
  • @softsalad
