The heat and humidity keeps you indoors most of the year, outside of beach time. Great place to spend the the winter. Folks who have never lived in the weather really need to rent for a year to see if you like it full time.
  • You gotta change that thumbnail picture lol. St.Pete isnā€™t in Tampa!

Awesome videos man! ...appreciate the insights
  • Thanks for reminding me of Crescent lake, beautiful are for walking but not when it is 98 degrees, But great trees and wildlife.

I would love to talk to you about real estate. I'm about to be stationed in St. Pete's and plan to buy a house if the market isn't whacky.

Hey Sam!! Can you give us Tampa vs Orlando vs Jacksonville!
  • When was this filmed? I've got to strongly disagree with the "old infrastructure". Saint Pete has spent a lot of time and money to improve the electrical and plumbing infrastructure. They have gone through all the neighborhoods and implemented these and other infrastructure improvements. Maybe you're looking at info from a couple years ago.

Do you mean best city in Tampa Bay? Because Tampa IS a city.

Interesting how lack of families is seen as a con for you. Idk about you but I see that as a pro. Less kids šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

I get that youā€™re a family man, so I can understand why the lack of a family vibe is a con for you, but as you mentioned, St. Pete is getting younger. Meaning itā€™s appealing to people who donā€™t have families or who like that it doesnā€™t have a family vibe. I wish more of your videos werenā€™t so heavily family/kid focused. Some people just want to learn about different areas to leave and could care less about schools.

St. Pete is not in Tampa! They are not even in the same county. You should probably check your info bud. Also people from St. Pete hate Tampa and you can see that reflected on street art and local signs. ā€œDonā€™t Tampa my St. Peteā€

Saint Petersburg is NOT a part of nor governed by the City of Tampa! Saint Petersburg is a whole other city with its own government. It is wholly incorrect to juxtapose Saint Petersburg with Tampa as if it is a suburb. For those who assume ā€˜Tampa Bayā€™ is a city inclusive of Tampa, Saint Petersburg, and Clearwater, please know that ā€˜Tampa Bayā€™ refers to a region of independent municipalities that happen to border the body of water called Tampa Bay! Saint Petersburg is growing exponentially vertical, creating soaring rents and home prices. Flooding is isolated to known low-lying communities like Shore Acres, yet it is incorrect to assume that all shoreline communities are flood prone or require flood insurance.

Saint Petersburg is a CITY not a town

25% is not sustainable. Itā€™s bullshit that I canā€™t even realistically imagine being able to retire to my hometown

If you were a local rather than a carpet bagger, you would call it the "Tampa Bay Area". I would not engage you as my realtor.

Itā€™s not the best city in Floridaā€¦ šŸ‡·šŸ‡ŗ
