By popular demand, here is the FULL parts list for the engine:

Since I already have a full engine build series, I didn't want to make repeat content, but still wanted to showcase the work that went into this thing. So I ended up spending weeks making this instead lolll. Keep in mind, this video is just for entertainment, and does not show the other half of what goes into building an engine, aka taking all of the measurements, modifying parts to fit, cleaning everything piece by piece, etc. What you see here is basically the fun part! If you'd like more info on the engine build check out the technical blog here:

No blah blah blah talk, no annoying music, no selfie stick where they film themselves more than the work. No this is just straight to the work. Perfect! Looks awesome. Subbed.
  • @mrfixall
I have to say that that was like watching an artist work, And create a work of art, worthy of any museum. Pretty excellent for a guy that's taking a break. Well played.

Daddy Greg bringing home the bacon yet again
  • @Luckde10
Greg, your techniques have become far more refined since the fist build. Looks far more surgical than your earlier builds. Look forward to the day on the dyn.
  • Yesssss exactly what I needed right now! Thanks for taking your time to produce this great content for us :)

Words cannot describe how satisfying it is watching an engine be assembled. All while being educational. Please make more of these the exact same formate exact same music. It would be much appreciated 🙌🏾

I’ve been watching for years but never commented. This video was absolutely fantastic. You have gotten so good at your craft, both in building and capturing/editing. Love your videos, keep them coming!
  • can we please point out that 1 handed hex key skill. I have never seen anyone do it so smoothly!
  • Beautiful work Greg, hypnotizing. Your cinematography has gotten so good!
  • @38tech
Bruh, the chilliest half hour of yt ever. Thanks, that was very relaxing.
  • @erictol
Thank you Greg for all your inspiring videos. This one could not be better timed, I currently putting together my shaved 2001 VVT block for my 10AE. Keep doing what you do!
  • This is like the best lego set in the world. Watching that whole camshaft assembly get put on top of the block was like building a lego and it makes you take a detour to build a different part and then you put it all together and it looks amazing. This is truly one of the best things I've watched.
  • @Cairo5555
Wow, you outdid yourself on this video Greg. Well done it's such a nice video to watch and love the background music. :) Keep up all the good and hard work!
  • @HaworthJimmy
The parts list and details you’ve provided are fantastic. So much research and planning given away to anyone on a similar journey with their Miata. Good on you ❤
  • @Spademonkey
Happy to see this coming together man! Always stoked to see your builds and the directions they go! Keep it up!
  • This is the first video I've watched from start to finish, no bathroom breaks or nuthin' Just remember Craig, with this much power comes great responsibility
  • @FDB77
I may not have anyone for Valentine's Day but at least I have Miata Dad and my NB :) Thanks for the relaxing video Craig.
  • After building a few turbo Miata’s years ago it’s fun to see the whole process done again. Takes me back to the early 2000s. Thank you
  • Using your videos as a template for my own built motor miata. Really appreciate the depth and detail as you’re pushing the limits of these BPs! Hope soon people will start to see the potential these motors have and how much cheaper they are to build than other motors!
