Give him a variety of chop which is a mixture of veggies and fruits in addition to his dry foods. You can put a broccoli Florentino the bars so Pillow can dibble on it also you can clip a couple fresh spinach leaves.

The kid did his research. Props to him for handling the bird with care at a young age.

I love how he is whittling perches for grip and comfort for the bird. Great use of materials

YOU HAVE A GOOD HEARTED SON.. GOD BLESS HIM..

The fact that the parents are saying “no no we need to be very gentle, see how he is breathing really fast? That means he’s scared” I love that sooooo much 💕

You guys have more common sense than my mum who: -thinks vets are unnecessary -thinks a big cage is unnecessary -thinks plastic perches are fine -thinks the birds don't need toys -thinks foot tags are to stop birds from flying away Aight time for an update: -we replaced plastic perches with natural wooden ones (we got them from a tree that we chopped down) -we bought toys for them -we're saving up for a bigger cage (I talked to my mum about the cage issue and she said to save up) -i keep asking for my mum to find a vet but she keeps forgetting :/
  • You guys have done an excellent job teaching your child how to treat animals with respect. Thank you for your responsible parenting. People could learn a lot from watching this video. Bravo!

If all parents were this happy and open to let their kids explore the animal world and learn about these beautiful animals then the future generations would definitely be a lot more confident.

As a bird owner myself I know that it’s extremely hard to form a bond with your bird overnight, the fact that Pillow was from a Pet store and he let you hold him is amazing
  • @iamnotamango

  • The yellow marking on Pillow's head is what my boy budgie has got!
  • @ElaraMaltby
That's a really tame budgie. Usually you need to get a budgie that is hand raised lucky pick.
