Back seat craftsman here. You could’ve just printed out the engineering drawing in 1:1 scale and then just tape it over the MDF as a template for where you should cut. It won’t be perfect but it’s far better than what you did.

Not checking if its been commented, but the show you are thinking of tied to billy and mandy was Evil con carne. It takes place in the same universe as billy and mandy, originally, the two shows were piloted and aired as a single slot called Grim and Evil. You would get 15 minutes of grim, 15 minutes of evil. However Billy and Mandy was significantly more popular so the network ordered more Grim episodes and aired them as a double slot.

Honestly good fucking job getting a respirator and goggles on for cutting the MDF. So many people don't wear adequate PPE with that stuff. There is an irritant resin that can fuck you up when it's put in the air. My only other suggestion would be ear defenders, circular saws are loud and in a garage like that you might be more comfortable.

Heres an idea. If you can find a super monkey ball ball monkey figurine, you could cast clear resin around it amd make a super super monkey ball ball monkey ball. Then, make a super monkey ball costume, get in a zorb, and youll be a super super monkey ball ball monkey, playing super monkey ball, on a super super monkey ball super ball monkey ball. Which would be nice.
