    In my hometown, before we found out wooden railway would continue, only one store had the wood line, they only sold 5 of them and the store ended up shutting down early this year.

    I can't help but find it typical Mattel did not even try with marketing that new brand at all. They could've given that line TV adverts or advertising posters, but no, they chose to do little to fuck all on their end. If I can recall something, I remember Thomasfan261 saying that line has never been released in the UK, which is ironic since Thomas is from the UK. But Mattel being Mattel, I believe they just didn't try with marketing that line elsewhere besides the US, Japan, or wherever in the world Wooden Railway 2022 is sold.

    I wouldn’t be surprised if Mattel deliberately screwed over the new Wooden Railway just to justify making the show even less relevant.

    Mattel is giving Thomas a death by a thousand cuts and this is one of the most painful ones(I LOVED Wooden it was my childhood and now they just throw all those years of work,love and are away......YOU KILLED THOMAS MATTEL!)

    My only hope for the series at this point is that Bachmann keeps on releasing models of characters from the cgi era (Rebecca for example) and/or the model era (before 2009). Would kill for a Flying Scotsman or Hiro.

    Ever since it came out, I hadn't seen them in stores anywhere in my state. I only barely saw a few for the first time at Macy's two days after I heard about the cancellation. (Picked up Rosie btw. Stellar model)

    It’s such a shame that the range is being discontinued, especially when they had some great model like Percy.

    The range was also sold at some of those pop-up Toys r Us stores at Macy's in the US (not mine, however, though I saw pictures of shelves being pretty stocked!) Great video!
