Not Too Bad~ Not Too Bad At All - Mr. Bad Final Review [CC]

Not always but sometimes everyone wants to watch dramas that are less toxic. Because seeing the toxicity of reality, everyone likes to see a peaceful life.

I really loved this drama, it was such a sweet break from the heavier things. I think it’s one I’ll go back to for comfort later - I also love how we got a substantial ending to chew on. I think there’s just something really lovely about getting to see life after the wedding for a couple, seeing the family grow etc. In so many dramas we don’t even get to see a wedding, we just see the couple come back together right at the very end and it’s almost a little too unsatisfying. I understand that you like a little more sour with your sweet, but if this show had that, I don’t think it would have given us such an ending. It’s really as you described - a cup of warm hot chocolate. I haven’t seen Dear Ancestor so I might have to check that out.

I’ll check out anything with Shen Yue, she’s so charming.

I think kudos to the experience of both lead actors - they are able to carry off the relaxed vibe that is very much in vein of romantic, comedy drama

The comment about the guy time travelling is interesting. It's why I love Live Up To Your Name (kdrama) so much, because BOTH characters time travel. It creates a very pleasing symmetry. He initially comes from the past to her current day time, but then they both go back in time (and repeat that a few times lol). That worked so well because 1) they both get the Fish Out Of Water experience 2) it gives them better understanding of the other's misunderstandings and 3) they're both doctors and find out the possibilities & limitations of the other's time period.

Mr. Bad is a very heartwarming TV play. More so, the Chemistry of the Main Characters/Lead Stars Shen Yue and Chen ZheYuan was awesome, admirable and lovable.. They portrayed their roles well and complement each other beautifully, as if their relationship is real. Kudos too, to the Director and the whole casts.

This was a really sweet little drama. The wedding scene was so realistic!

Each relationship in this drama is pretty believable and I might say realistic too. It could happen to anyone and doesn't really feel like it is forced one character and other character too interact (?)

My favorite of this genre of time traveling is still Splash Splash Love (kdrama, 2015, only 2 episodes). I think it's time to revisit it!

I am new to Cdramas so this was my introduction to the leads. I thought they had amazing chemistry and I loved their dynamic. This was such a feel good show, I loved that some of the plot threads could have been dragged out to just add angst but the show doesn't do that and moves on from them rather quickly. Also appreciated the adoptive mother/daughter relationship being just as important as the romance.

I like Mr. Bad as well. It is a typical romcom that Shen Yue is very good at. Chen Zhe Yuan acted quite good. I first watched him in Our Secrets and felt that he did a good job in it. He has good potential to be an excellent actor. If you have not check out My Calorie Boy, I highly recommended because it is a heart warming, positive, and encouraging about friendships that grows into love relationship. Zhai Zi Lu did his best acting in this drama in compared to other dramas that he was in.

This is a nice piece of fluff that keeps me entertained for a while. There was a Chinese series recently in which a girl jumped out of a manga, but I can't remember the drama's name. In My Girlfriend Is an Alien it's also the woman who comes into our world.

Was thinking of watching this drama but wasn't sure enough...but now that Avenuex has reviewed I will definately give it a watch '1.5' from your end means it's gonna be a good one Also I watched 'Love between Fairy and Devil' as you gave it a '2' goldmine rating...it was a wholesome experience a drama were I found the F lead naturally cute and not 'acting cute'...they showed how a drama can be soo good with a simple story❤

The K-Drama FAITH/the Great Doctor with Lee Minho had a female time traveller as well. And wow, that's already 10 years old. I have been watching Asian dramas for longer than I remembered...

I loved this drama, is one of my favorite now. I'll watch it again for sure 💕

Me gusto mucho el drama Mr. Bad. No conozco mucho el cine chino. Me gusto la actuación de Shen Yue y de su CP CZY. La quimica e interacción entre ambos fue muy buena. La escena de la boda fue muy conmovedora. La trama, que nunca ví de este tipo, de la antiguedad y con sus trajes históricos, me gustó.
