Thanks for checking it out. I was really surprised how complete and well rounded the impulse sounded when it was double tracked.

Thanks Vadim! Thanks very kind. Have a great weekend my friend.

Thanks. I did a similar review for Recabinet using some heavy mixes. It has a lot of versatility. I really like the Red Wirez stuff as well.

Wow Scottie, I'm really humbled by that comment. I sincerely appreciate the kind words and feedback. To be honest, I'm recording my album right now and sometimes you fall into those moments where you feel self conscious about your playing and about other people hearing it. Guys like you taking the time to be cool really make it worth it. Cheers!!

Hey Tim, thats very coool test! I really like the way you record guitar! All of these amp sims sounds good in your hands. Messiah seems a good impulses too
  • @itowedin
Yeah I've had a lot of success with Legion and Le456. Both great sims! Thanks for checking this out.

Thanks man. I agree, It has well rounded top end that isn't harsh. It's sculpted for a great layered heavy rhythm. It made using an amp sim much easier in an overall mix.

Really nice man these impulse really sound metallic and powerful it gives a nice color to your tones!

Thanks for checking out the video. The demo was more about showcasing the Messiah impulse response. My intent was not to underestimate or disregard any amp sim or software. I chose the software with the tones that I thought showcased Messiah the best in a high gain setting. While Messiah can be used in any genre, it's strongest attributes are for aggressive styles. Thanks.

Just awesome. Got Messiah today. BTW, can you post your preset for Overloud's TH2? cheers
  • @CoreyHunter
Cool, thanks. I recently purchased a Focusrite Scarlett 8i6, and it's taken me a while to get used adjusting the input levels manually. Before that, I was using a line 6 tone port, which was easier to use but inferior in sound quality. I bought the Kuassa Amplifikation One. I like it a lot. I also use Overloud TH2, but it's a little more complicated for somebody like myself. Been thinking of buying a bass guitar, but the Trilian plug-in seems like a more affordable option.

Hey there. I'm using a Lexicon Lambda interface. I play an Ibanez sound gear 5 string bass on my personal recordings. To save time and to get a sound that was close to mix ready I chose Trilian for this video to give an idea of what this impulse sounded like in a final mix.

how do you remove the background noise of "legion of lepou"??
  • @paulclarke4099
Hi Tim, love the sounds. Could you please tell me the guitar tuning you are using on the LePou Legion example at 1:54. Sounds pretty low. Your videos are very useful.
  • @itowedin
Hey there. I use a really low gain setting on Legion which cuts down on that noise. I know what you're saying, Legion can get really saturated. Of course, if you're getting a good tone but getting some background noise, try a noise gate. Depending on your signal chain you can try two noise gates. Thanks.
