That last line: Energy emits still. Emit Still. EMMIT TILL.
-
As a black individual like myself, this song should make you so emotional on so many levels
-
"A " doo-doo popper" refers to a .22 caliber handgun, whereas "hair trigger" means becoming angry at the slightest provocation. It also refers to when a trigger needs little pressure to go off
-
I watched a lot of reactions on this piece and I must say that you captured the bigger message that Kendrick is trying to portray about normalizing horrible things as if it is culture. Most channels missed that theme. Big ups man
-
Loved your reaction. So genuine. And I've watched so many over the last two days 💙
-
Yes, it's Art . Kendrick is in a lane of his own . Beautiful Review !
-
You have to understand the black plight in this country to really feel this song cause trust me it hits different when you lived it vs seeing it in passing or heard about it. If you know you know
-
I was so emotional and literally I tear up at the end . The string gets me yaw ! We can feel all those emotion thru all the character perspective . I really appreciate him all his art . Kdot is true talented artist ! Top 5 lyriscm !! ❤️

The 🐐 is back, and man did he get deep in this one

The Goat is back

You are the only reactor I've seen that acknowledged the "I don't blame the hood the day that I was killed. Y'all had to see it, that's the only way to feel" bar. When we saw the footage of him dying it was the biggest heartbreak. We "felt" the loss hard in L.A. Pure sadness. Great review. New subbie 💜

The person after Kanye was Jussie Smollett. “The streets got me fucked up, y’all can miss. I wanna represent for us.” In Jussie’s eyes he was representing the culture with the bleach incident. Then Kendrick said, “…another peers been executed. History repeats again, make amends then find a nigga with the same skin to do it.” The two men Jussie got to go along with his plan were Black. The way he tied it together is genius! The whole song 🙌🏾

That 3rd verse and Andre verse on Kanye record are two of the best verses I've ever heard....and they were both this year
-
One of the best reactions better than some that have like 400k 500k views
-
Notice how he’s on his left on the screen like a hear dancing like a beating heart it’s a hurt heart guys
-
Jussie Smollett from the tv show Empire my guy love the reaction
-
Yeah bruh, that's how I felt when I saw this. Love your reaction man.

The Marvin Gaye sampling, "I want you, and I want you to want me too. Look what I've done for you." In my humble opinion is referencing all the corporations that have capitalized off of the backs of each person that he morphed into and yet melanated people are perpetually subjected to the harsh and deadly realities of life here in America. What we as a culture have contributed to the success of this great nation in every arena is immeasurable, but yet centuries have cone and gone while NOTHING EVER CHANGES!!
-
Bruh...much respect for ur thorough inner feelings when he morphed each time...u a real 1 my G.. .
