The most TOXIC speedrun in history

The absolute fear when they thought the Luigi was AFKing against them was amazing.

One thing to keep in mind for this run: The characters that you see onscreen are not necessarily the same ones your opponents see. One time I recruited a friend for online game applause to reduce the likelihood of ragequits, so I can get the applause achievement faster. On my screen I was Mario, my buddy was Wario, and Yoshi/Luigi were the others (eventually AI). On my buddy's screen, I was Wario, my buddy was Daisy, and the other two were Luigi/Mario. So using character-specific stickers may not have the same effect that you see.

I let my 5 year old son play my switch, he will play mario party unsupervised and has left it idol before. So the fact that the last episode may have very much been my kid and the trauma it inflicted on jo and Jacob is fucking hilarious to me.

I think at 50:08 Alphas instincts take over and he forgets his original objective and starts just playing mario party.

New tech: Start around 5:00 pm Pacific Time to maximize the odds of another player getting called for dinner. At the very least people might quit because they're starting to get hungry.

These are the only people I’m aware of to make a speedrun where the best strat is to timer stall.

I don't have the game myself but I can only imagine the online mode gets more and more intolerable to actually try and play every time one of these videos drops

Actually, Birdo having one star at the end is a "good" thing. After all...what is more humiliating than losing 6-0 to UR BAD? Losing 6-0 to UR BAD and 1-0 to an AI!

Focusing one player might be a backfire play honestly. They’re just as likely to rage stay as they are to rage quit. Never making the toxicity personal means they wont have bruised skin in the game keeping them in.

You could say amog rage quit, but I’d say he dodged a massive bullet

last night i had a dream jo was killed by brassius from the new pokemon games. he was strangled by his thorn whip just out of jacob’s view while they were recording (i think they were recording spelunky) brassius’ motive was that his mother had been killed for her art with his thorn whip which was originally hers until she died. this all took place in a five guys parking lot. i don’t know why jacob and jo were recording in a five guys parking lot, and i don’t know how brassius got away with murder out in the open in broad daylight. what i do know is that jacob continued recording after jo disappeared and didn’t question it.

The only problem with this strat is the number of people who watch deluxe. They'd never rage quit
