My way of remembering one of the people who have made the greatest impression on my life. Although there were things I did not agree with him on, Christopher Hitchens was one of the greatest intellectuals Britain has ever produced. Witty, incisive, erudite and immensely personable, his enormous skill as an author, debater and raconteur ensured that no one with whom he came into contact, whether through his books or listening to him speak, was left unmoved, and those who did publicly challenge him usually wished they hadn't.

Intellectual colossus and one of the great thinkers of his generation, he is greatly missed.
