So let me get this straight the previous owner not only overfed him to the point to where he can barley walk. But then dumped him on the streets in Arizona in summer!? That pisses me off so much.

16 months ago, we rescued a Beagle in the same condition. He was abandoned at our vet and they didn’t have the heart to send him to a shelter. They called us. Duffy is down to 34 pounds and is doing great! He runs, jumps and loves green beans - our secret diet ingredient. Rock on Wolfgang!

I've seen a few over weight beagles but nothing like poor Wolfgang.

Glad she stopped him, he would have def eaten the whole deck. On a serious note good job glad the dog is healthier & happy!

The fact that he had goals to fit through the doggie door that is very cute. I'm happy for him hope he leads a healthy happy active life.

As a veterinary professional, this is horrifying. I don’t understand how it gets to this point. I don’t understand how people can have an animal and think this is remotely “okay”. The immense pain and discomfort he must have been in is just so heartbreaking to think about. I am beyond relieved that he is in a safe home with awesome new owners. Thank you for what you’ve done for him. Keep up the great work!

How could someone be so mean to such a sweet doggie? It breaks my heart that he was in so much pain, but I am overjoyed that he is happy and healthy now! What amazing people . 🥰🤩😍

I find it amusing how he's still so active, so willing to walk and move his body even when he's absurdly obese. Usually dogs in such condition would just given up on life. Happy he's in good shape now.

It was heartbreaking to see Wolfgang at 90 pounds. However, you have to feel a bit better when you see what a good attitude he had. Seeing his progress through the pictures and video was very cool. I'm glad he is so much more healthy, now.
