How this song didn't immediately become the theme for everything Resident Evil is something I'll never understand.

September 24th, 1998 9-1-1 calls reporting Cannibal Disease attacks spiked in Raccoon City as the day began. A woman was assaulted by a sickly looking man and left for dead by a dumpster; when found by RPD officers, he was gunned down immediately. During the Raccoon Sharks football game at Warren Stadium, fans across the stadium attacked other fans, creating a massive riot that disrupted the game. The 9-1-1 calls skyrocket as the evening approached, and by sunset, multiple riots were occurring in several areas of the city.

I listen this song more then I listen anything, every night I listen to this and play games all night for at least 1 whole year, and still its one of the greatest music ever!

i’m shocked somebody thought to remaster this!! ever since the movie came out in theaters, i was obsessed with this song! i had gotten it off limewire but eventually lost the pc i had it on. i used to put on the movie just to play this opening theme and then shut it off. this is remarkably done. I knew there was something familiar from the main menu soundtrack since I’ve recently started playing resident evil and love it. Didn’t know it was good ol Manson lol, now I just like it even more! I can see why Manson was the only one to make the soundtrack during that time too, he is a master in making darkness and the undead surround you.

Oh... I LOVE this music. It is so mysterious, spooky, and energizing. In a word, it is ingenious!!

Nothing like the immediately trauma inducing panic that comes over me the second I hear the beginning of this song. This movie was definitely one of the first to really inspired my love for all things/games/movie related Zombies.
