This is who’s she’s always been. When she first started singing, she had to get peoples attention by being creative and artistically over the top. She set the tone of the 2010s. Every pop star starting trying to out do her. But Gaga was always 20 steps ahead. Now she can get on the stage and be stripped down and people actually hear her. I find it funny that all us little monsters always knew this but the rest of the world never got it. I’m glad she showed this to the world. I remember when she came out as Jo Calderone at the mtv music awards. She was telling an honest dialogue and every celebrity in that room was so confused. I understood that back then that was the only way she could tell her story and hold everyone’s attention.

Lady Gaga is the definition of Art Major elegance.

Anyone who didn’t like this performance most likely never had anyone in their life suffer from depression, addiction, mental health issues, grief, anxiety, etc. - Holding someone- being there to help someone through their darkest days - is the best part of being human. This stripped down performance was so appropriate and from her heart. I felt the “it’s personal” behind this performance. Just a beautiful performance of a deeply touching song. Keep being you.❤

I love how Lady Gaga can literally wear whatever the hell she wants and get away with it! Whether it's a meat dress, or a classy cocktail gown, or ripped jeans and no makeup like she just rolled out of bed and walked in off the street, she somehow manages to ALWAYS pull it off and make it enhance the performance!

This particular performance, for once...she's not Lady Gaga. She's just, Stefani. The rawness, the emotions we got from this one performance, needs no makeups or flashy dresses, just pure TALENT. She's fucking awesome, legendary. Not really a fan of her musical style before but grew up listening to much of her pop famous songs. As people may said, she looked crazy but I believed that she did that as a way to rebel and masking her insecurities. But as an adult now, I appreciate her presence and how much her voice and songs have helped went through my emotional conflicts.
