The biggest take away is with experience comes better sound selecting, the other beats were good, but Simon's sound choice really melded with the beat way more.
  • The beginner guy proved that nothing can beat simplicity. He had the best beat one could vibe to
  • @mikez.5910
The beginner really structured his beat well
  • @Ryahu
I'm 27 and 5 years producing, but that 14 year old "noob" laid down a vibe that idk if i could match honestly, real nice
  • @K3dzz
Dude this gave me goosebumps. As a producer it makes me SO happy to see kids this young making seriously inspired music. Props to these boys, they are going to move mountains
  • Fiasco has potential! Only 6 months to be at this level? I hope he gets the opportunity to grow and shine, because it's not everyday that you hear a beginner at such an advanced level.
  • @fidrewe99
My favorite is the beginner's. I think his beat fits the track best. It's catchy, groovy and creative, while leaving space for the instruments. And that transition in the end was really unexpected and interesting. Even from a mixing standpoint I prefer it to the intermediate one, since it's not overhyped. I also like his choice of putting the "vocals" in the background. This adds to the melancholic mood and really lets the beat shine through. The only thing I dislike is the bass(line). I think what counts here is experience in making and creating music, not just in producing it.
  • DUDE THESE KIDS KILLED IT!!! Especially impressed with fiasco who's only been producing 6 months!! wasnt expecting that from him at all. Imo, The first two beats could sound super sick if they were combined. All the beats were sick tho! awesome vid!
  • @FlowFM
All 3 created something great here. Given that Fiasco has only been producing for half a year (and is only 14 years old...?!) he did some solid work in those 30 minutes he had. Keep it up guys, true talent should never be wasted.
  • @cuebeq
All 3 were hard AF😭. The one thing that killed me was the "Exhale Counter". Props to all three producers. Mad skills🙏🔥🔥🔥
  • Both kids got lots of potential. Simon's sound selection was on beast mode! Picking great sounds that can be cohesive with the mood you're creating is really helpful, especially when mixing comes to play...bruh!
  • @thesauce1791
Everyone killed it. That switch up from Fiasco was ice cold 🥶 Really impressive for someone with only 6th month experience. Can’t wait to hear more from everyone in this video.
  • @ayl-rose
I'm very glad that kids at a young age can have such a level of skill doing music production, I'm currently 15 and have been producing for 1 year and I've been able to advance a lot in my type of musical "career" making electronic music of various types of subgenres, Have a nice day Servida! (Maybe one day can i participate in something similar with you)
  • The 2 reaction on the beginner's "switch up" is the purest form of collaboration energy, and I'm living for it. Good job to the 2 and to OP for creating a platform for these young producers.
  • @r0manprod
so basically simon took some kids to flex on them and i dig that, it was great to see these producers flip the sample in such a short time, with everyone having different approach to things. also wouldn't call the first one noob, as he did really great having only 6 months of experience. at that time I didn't know how to even open effects or drop samples, and he is killing these patterns.
  • @jumpsuit9769
I'm a 24 yr old producer and this kids can beat me in this kind of challenge no sweat😂 good job simon! thanks for sharing and always inspiring.
  • @zuzannaz5004
I'm not into producing at all, but this was so interesting! Hearing three different skills and music feelings compared was a cool experience - good idea for the video.
  • Very cool mix the first kids got but second one is pretty freakin cool. I like how he arranged it!
