"The path towards a successful game, is a completed bug-free game at launch" - Sun Tzu
-
The scope of this game seems VERY ambitious. With both life sim, city management, and action swordplay. But if they can somehow pull it off it I'll definitely buy it
-
Engage in stealth: smashes tables and cabinets

For those who don’t understand, this game is based on a painting called Along the River During the Qingming Festival (清明上河图)! Like imagine if Starry Night got turned into a video game

1:37 for non Chinese speakers, Jianghu (lit. 'rivers and lakes', but also sounds like the word for glue lols) refers to this mythical notion of a Martial arts world, mostly filled with outlaws but also romanticised heroes and lots of revenge plots

If the game accomplishes half of what it's showing it will be pretty dope.

The first few mins were so civilized, and then the stealth and looting escalated things. The artwork looks stunning, though, especially the lighting at dusk.

The cloth animation and the lighting are beautiful! 😮

An RPG in ancient China where you can do anything and everything and then some, was not on my list this year but damn, its looks amazing!
-
‘Stealth and loot’ That escalated quickly

Love the watercolor map painting aesthetic. And happy that you can rotate the perspective.

My instincts tell me this game will be a let down, or even a scam. It just promises so much in such a vague way… in this day and age of transparency… it just seems like it’s holding back the truth. How could it promise so much?

Embrace a life of leisure: Lists a million things to do.
-
This camera angle really reminds me of medieval chinese paintings
-
Player character went from a humble farmer to a warrior real quick

Looks absolutely gorgeous. The palette, the fluidity of the movements, the attention to details, the lighting. Lovely stuff
