Great video and comentary. You notice the horses, excelent!!This movie is so full of symbols that people still not understand, but in time they will. And then, they will appreciatte the beautiful work of art this movie is, and the incredible job and dedication of all the ones involve in its making, in particular the work of Patty Jenkins. Like I said in other of yours videos, this movie is the Hero's Journey of Tarot, Diana walks that path and the 22 Mayor Arcana are the path, the characters and the situations. The horses, white and black, represents the two forces inside any human been, the divine and the earthly. This forces pull the hero (any one that came to life) in diferents directions. The hero must learn to balance that forces in order to serve a higher pourpose (this is the central theme of star wars). The black horse is the beast inside any of us, the beast we must to domesticate so we can use his great power to build, to create, not to destroy. The beast must be domesticated, not chained or killed. Search for "Tarot The Force" and you will see some representations. An angelic woman controlling a lion or a man fighting in a cave with the Lion, is an internal battle. When Diana ride the black horse looking for Ludendorff, she is dominated for the beast, dominated by wrath, dominated by a destructive impulse, so she totally fail. The movie show this with the symbol of the reality overturned on its side, this is part of the symbol of this Arcana. When Diana enter in the woods, is the only scene in the movie when the image is overturned. Let's go back to the horses. The scene in no man's land is the Arcana VII, The Chariot. The moment when the hero acquaire the capacity to leave, assume her own identity and follow her own path. If you look for this Arcana, you will see the horses, black and white. The forces that the hero is learning to control and use. In your video, there is other two Arcana. Hipolita is The Empress, Arcana III and Antiope is the Highest Priestess, Arcana II (in this symbol there is two columns, black and white, that form the temple and representes the forces). This Arcana (II) represents preparation, training, intrauterine development. So, that is the role of Antiope and it is a duty, an unrenounceable task. Temischira is a metaphor of the heaven, when Diana is in full contact with the white horse and know nothing about the black horse. And also a metaphor of the mother's belly. When Diana decide is time to born in this dimention then her preparation begins. This is her development inside her mother's uterus. Her body grows. The test of Diana in the training field, surrounded by amazons, is the moment when she proves her body is ready for life, is the moment when the contractions of the uterus (Antiope's hits in Diana's bracelets) break the water and birth begins (blow from Diana's bracelets). The battle in the beach is the birth process and Antiope must die because is the matrix, the placenta that has fulfilled its purpose and with its last breath drives Diana to birth. ... and the Tower ... well, that is the key of the movie, but we let that to another comment. (apologize for my english)
