I always thought Gamabunta was talking to Roshi when he said "Screw you, pervert!" And I was confused on he knew Roshi was one. Now in closer inspection, I think he was talking to Jirayia when he said. Cursing out the man that summoned him to his death

I love how Jiraiya is fully ready to end this little old man's life just for saying there were no pictures.

It's worth noting also that Roshi doesn't actually HAVE to catch bullets. He can tank them; they hurt him, but he can tank them. Jaraiya lives in a universe where throwing knives are a realistic concern.

Roshi taking longer to perfect Kamehamaha than it took Goku to learn it absolutely does not mean Roshi is bad at Ki manipulation. Its much harder to create a technique from scratch than it is to learn one.

I just realized that some of the strongest Naruto enemies were moon-breakers...and we already had moon-breakers like Roshi in the original DragonBall

I don’t think roshi taking 50 years to make the kamahameha and goku learning it in a day is indicative a roshi not being naturally talented with ki, with it being stated before that sayains just learn things super quickly even if they have only witnessed it quickly once. But krillin and yamcha using it after like 3 or so years is.
