Twenty One Pilots does something that hardly any other musician/artist/musical act has ever done and that’s brings out true and raw emotion from their fans and listeners. 21 Pilots have honestly helped me so much in my life! Their music has helped me find the strength to quit using hard drugs. I spent so many years wanting to be numb to the world and emotions and everything. When I found their music and really listened and invested myself in their music and their message it helped me find the strength to quit and I wish I could thank Tyler and Josh personally for giving us such amazing music and what it’s done for me and for so many other people!

I’ve had this thing about this song…and I’d frequently look up this live version and watch it. I was thinking these crowds were so lucky to get to witness this version. Then I went to my second trench show and Dr Blum was back and I sat there in anticipation knowing they’d probably bring this back at some point in the show. It was such an awesome moment for me. I’m headed to show six in Nashville in September! We’ve got to get you to a show.

This album does have a lot of songs dealing with faith - later on in their albums there is still some but it's much more buried in metaphors and less obvious

I don't know if you've heard of this before, but prior to Twenty One Pilots, Tyler did a solo album called 'No Phun intended'. He wrote incredible lyrics back then already, and he reuses them from time to time in the recent TØP songs. The second verse of this song 'Fall Away' is originally from a song called 'Drown' from his solo album. Did you know that? :D

I completely agree with you bout hearing what they say when they rap fast but trying to comprehend it too. Whenever NF raps fast he's always saying something profound or deep, just like Tyler, so I can't always comprehend it on the first listen.

They're both Christians as well as I am myself proud Christian so yeah you're hearing right. Tyler writes his lyrics so that if you're a Christian you'll definitely pick up on that aspect of the song. He also keeps in mind though his people that aren't believer's they can take the song in a different way as well. Yes his flow when he raps is phenomenal!

When I'm listening to a TOP song for the first time, i always read the lyrics along with it (especially if there's a rap) so that i can see what he's saying and hear the little nuggets of wisdom. Also, you should do a song from Sai, like Redecorate or Good Day!
