Doma died because of shinobu's poison(which was in shinobu's body) not because kanao and inosuke were so strong. I think Tanjiro and Giyu wouldn't be able to defeat Douma, especially since we never saw Douma's full power but great video.

I love kokushibo man ❤️🔥🔥🔥 but I gotta say as you said they were fighting without any plot armour so they will be defeated by Douma. Even Akaza would have continued to fight if he didn't get his memories back thereby losing his will to fight. So they didn't technically defeat Akaza either. So if Akaza can take them then Douma at his full strength is more than enough to defeat them. There is no need for Kokushibo. The difference in strength between Kokushibo and Douma is huge but the difference between Douma and Akaza is not on the same level. But still Douma is definitely stronger than Akaza in that point of the story especially because he consumes a lot of women . So Douma is enough to defeat Giyu and Tanjiro if he takes the fight seriously. If he plays around too much then it will be a huge problem for him though because Tanjiro was growing stronger and stronger against his fight with Akaza and that will happen again. His rage and power along with Giyu could take him by surprise if Douma plays around too much. But in the end they wouldn't be in no shape to take on Muzan Jackson after that.

If we assume the groups switch roles then, shinobu vs akaza will result in a draw or not even happening because akaza doesn't eat wowan so shinobu's kamakazi plan will fail, even if Inoske and kanao join in they still need the red blade to win. If zenitsu went up against akaza it would practically become a game of time, if akaza can track down zenitsu then he wins but if zenitsu just keep using his thunder breathing in an endless barrage then he can probably stall until either another demon slayer arrives or the infinity castle gets destroyed. and finally if somehow akaza finds it smart to attack 3 hashiras and genya who can become a demon hybrid then it's a literal stomp for the demon slayers.

Great video, but I noticed one thing you got wrong. Kokushibo isn’t as old as Muzan, he became a demon at 20 years old and lived an additional 460+ years while Muzan is a 1000 years old. Mitchikatsu was born during the sengoku era and Muzan was born during the heian era in the early 900s. (Just to correct that ✅😐👍)

If they hashiras where smarter shinobou should have been protected against all upper moons as we see that her poison was effective vs the upper two. Imagine how she would have made it easy for wveryone if she managed to poison them all

I truly do find it such a shame that Tanjiro didn't end up fighting with Kokushibo. He totally had to avenge Rengoku which I'm 100% behind and you can't really go from fighting one upper rank straight to another unless you kill the first without effort. Which since Akaza has never left peoples mind since he was introduced (Hated if you don't know his backstory --- loved and pitied if you do) he would never be beaten without the level of fight that they put in the manga. It's just SUCH A SHAME that we didn't get to see Kokushibo get beheaded by sun breathing or even see his reaction 1 to sun breathing and 2 to Tanjiro in general who looks similar to Yoriichi especially with hair color and literally has an identical slayer mark. I'd never picture Tanjiro taking the Doma fight from Shinobu or the Kaigaku fight from Zenitsu unless they made Kaigaku NOT Zenitsu's senior who caused the former thunder hashira to commit seppuku. I could picture the Nakime fight happening though. She has no significant tie to any slayer so anyone can logically fight her and move onto the next opponent either once they win or cover long enough for Yushiro to capture her. My favorite irony is Muzan's arrogance and temper are why he loses. If he didn't kill Nakime, there would be no sunrise countdown arc and I truly believe he could outlive the slayers in a fight by splitting off or simply regenerating despite being cut down like Akaza and Kokushibo could. Only continuous exposure to sunlight would kill him which would NEVER happen inside the castle.

nobody is capable of defeating muzan, kokushibo, douma and akaza except yoriichi lmao the only reason they died is cause they werent fighting seriously and gave up or got nerfed prime muzan (muzan before yoriichi encounter) would've solely destroyed the entire verse

Giyu and Tanjiro would die against Doma, Shinobu actually came with a perfect plan even if it meant having to sacrifice herself because directly fighting Doma using breathing techniques is a losing battle where the slayers get more tired and their breathing and movement more limited as the fight continues due to the growing aoe ice. Shinobu's plan worked because she knows how Doma thinks and she used it to destroy him from the inside out, Kanao and Inosuke just had to survive and distract him until the poison damages him beyond repair and can no longer use his powers. The two then comes in to finish the job.
