In my opinion (respect to Neon Trees), this version is the best. I love how dark and twisted it sounds, instead of light and pop centric, definitely suits the lyrics better anyway.

I remember being a simple girl and absolutely loving the original one by Neon Trees, then when I discovered Chase Holfelder’s version I never saw this song the same ever again. It’s just like my life is a complete lie, clearly this one (no hate towards the og one)(it’s still amazing) is just Idek.
