With this cuboro cugolino marble run, one marble starts and 66 marbles arrive at the bottom. A fitting name for this marble run is therefore "Route 66".
Some of the special building blocks used in the track and the marble wheel were made by Dietmar Wächtler ( youtube.com/@diddiskulima ).

Finally got to see this again. This video is basically my childhood. The amount of nostalgia this gives me is... absolutely insane.

Please remove that background music, the sound of marbles on wood is just so awesome and relaxing! ;)
  • Awww man this brings me back to rainy days during indoor recess this would be the only thing id play with. id just sit alone in my little corner building a massive tower and everyone near the end of it would come over to watch it go. You just brought back one of my best memories as a kid.❤

No clickbait. No BS intro. Just a guy playing with his balls from start to finish. YouTube quality content. Instant subscribe.

YouTube’s algorithm blessed me with this video today, nine years after it was originally uploaded. I’m impressed with all the work that went into setting the kugelbahn up since this is way more complex than most give the uploader credit for. Nice job! 😎👍

I like that you had an overall shot of the entire run as well as all the detail shots. It was nice to be able to put everything in context.
  • I have never seen this before and I’m not sure what it is, but it was incredibly satisfying to watch.

I haven’t seen this video in probably about 6 years. I’ve forgotten how mesmerized this video made me.

me as a kid watching this: how does the ball go back up the brick??? me now 10 years later: how does it still go back up???
  • @RupluttajaGames
Those marbles going upwards are just hurting my brain...even if it just were magnets...

The price of these components. . . Fine Swiss craftsmanship, the cost of good hardwood, design of the individual blocks to interact with each other and keep the balls moving: I can see where it comes from. But that set is about the price of a good used BMW. The kind with four wheels that actually runs. That said, I am glad our hero made the choice he or she did. That is one epic marble run, and a lot of work and creativity went into it: Well done!

I watched this video so many years ago back in my marble-race phase but completely forgot about it until this day, when YouTube recommendations seems to have shoved it back into my life. Looks like I’m not the only one either, judging by the recency of these other comments.
  • Now here's a video I haven't seen in years. Thanks, YouTube recommendations!
  • @kguy152000
It's that time of year where YouTube recommends marble videos to my page again...

    なんかビー玉達がお互いに「おい!集合だ!行くぞ!!」みたいな感じに叩き起しあってるみたいだな笑笑

This was literally the most satisfying thing I’ve ever watched. No words. Just my jaw dropped as I watched this. 10/10
