New long term project is inbound so here's how I go about planning scratch built costumes. Hopefully this will help some people who are also looking into fully making their own cosplays!

Don't you realise LG stands for "Laundry Goblin"? And thanks for the recommendation on a Jedi tunic/robe set, I am now well on my way to being a properly dressed Jedi!

THANK, YOU! You hit something in this video that I've probably heard 1000 times before, but never really understood until you pointed it out. "I don't have to buy everything at once. Do it as I need it or a little at a time." I'm one of those procrastinators that put everything off because I couldn't afford everything I need at the start. It just never occurred to me that I'm over thinking it & putting things until I can afford everything will never happen.
  • when you said to watch tutorials i just thought about how i watched your video for making the hasbro clone helmet look better
  • Planning for cosplays or CosPlans are the best! One could say it's the best part haha

Just to say, thank you for your advice regarding foamex. Managed to make my Royal Guardsman double vibroblade blades much easier than using foam.
  • Keep up the great vids! I've been a fan for a few years and it's been awesome watching your skills develop!

Great video, wonderful sketches. Here your looking for work, lots of studios looking for talented costume and set piece artists here in Canada, Toronto and Vancouver mostly. I Don’t work in the film industry, but may get lucky, friend of mine used to do set design ill ask her, she is brilliant. They are currently hoping to start filming season four of The Expanse, Season 3 of The Boys and What they do in the dark in the next few months in Toronto alone, its not the UK but we used to be a colony so a lot less culture shock, and a four hour drive to New York City or an hour by plane. Anyways keep Canada in mind, if you ever consider working abroad when things open up in a year or so, great video. Thanks.

Your advice has been quite handy, Thank you from North Dakota, USA. :)
