Leopardfoot was always a underrated character - Her mate left, 2 of her kits died, and one grew up to become a murderer. Poor Leopardfoot :(

Maybe Leopardfoot is the reason Tigerstar seemed strangely fond of Leopardstar, she has a similar name and personality to his mom

I LOVED the ending bit of Leopard laughing with Tiger. Don't really ever see much of Tiger being portrayed as chill and controlled, let alone see much of the characters in general just being a family. Showing the hidden lines between the canon stories is one of the things I love most about the MAPs of this fandom. I love the whole pacing throughout this MAP too. You can digest the story and emotions super easily, and the smooth and slow pacing matches the somber music very well. Beautiful animations and backgrounds and designs all around.

I honestly cried at the last part where Leopardfoot and Tigerclaw were talking to each other. It just hurts me knowing the fate of what becomes of the dark tabby. I just wish that things were better for him, and maybe then he wouldn't have gone down the path that he chose.

Can we just appreciate how they portray Tigerkit(Claw/Star) as an innocent kit who seemed to comfort his mom? It would better explain his hate for kittypets! The moment of laughter with Tigerclaw and his mom just laughing together in the wood brings me so much comfort. This would also help explain more of reason he hates kitty pets, its because he loves his mother and kittypets broke her life in a way

Things the Erins should've done with Tigerstar: 1) Have him be Bluestar's apprentice. The way she responded to his betrayal, you'd've thought she thought of him as a son. It also makes more logical sense for her unwavering trust in him prior to his attempted murder. Why would she trust her former political rival's apprentice who she saw nearly kill a kittypet kitten? 2) Have Leopardfoot give him a life. Like, seriously? The fiftieth Whitetail gets to give him a life, but his own mother doesn't? His deadbeat dad (who I'd argue is a strong reason Tigerstar turned out the way he did) gets to give him a life, but the mother who stuck around and raised him as best as she could singlepawed can't? Unless she was so ashamed of him that she couldn't bear to even go to his nine lives ceremony, but even then, have him notice her absence. Something. 3) Speaking of Leopardfoot, have her be involved somewhere in the Final Battle. I don't think it's in her character to go full Yellowfang and kill him personally, but Leopardfoot should've at least been around when he died. Maybe she could be the one cat who's genuinely distraught that she doesn't get to see him ever again. Cause that's her baby! 4) Stop making New Tigerstars. Less about the Tigerclawstar and more about his descendants. They could've done really cool things with Hawkfrost, but no, he's Tigerstar Junior. And Tigerheartstar? There's no way in Hades Tawnypelt would've named her son after the father she tried desperately to forget. Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk.

this MAP is absolutely beautiful. I can clearly see how much care went into portraying this character in a human sense, on top of that a character who gets very little love and recognition by the fandom. Every part shows the heartbreak Leopardfoot feels when realizing her mate has left her and the Clan, her two daughters dying, and the ending part with her speaking to Tigerclaw is just insanely sweet and warm. thank you for bringing more love to this character! <3 everyone did fantastic

the ending where tigerclaw and leopardfoot were just hanging out together having fun was almost the saddest part to me, because it showed that tigerclaw did have a caring side and loved his mother. happy mother’s day!

A nice little detail I noticed is that before Leopardfoot found out about Pinestar meeting kittypets was the only time we saw other cats that werent a part of her story. After she found them, the only other characters being shown are Leopardfoot herself,her kits, Pinestar and Jake, showing how much she maybe felt distant from the other cats around her. Might just be interpreting way too much but if not, beautiful way of showing not telling!

I've never seen a map for leopardfoot. And I'm surprised, she has such a sad story. Her mate leaves her to become a kittypet, he never loved their kits, her two daughters died, her son became kitty cat hitler. She's such a good character! After tigerpaw is apprenticed, she is still said too be protective over him and for good reason too. She doesn't get enough love.

Awwww. I always loved Leopardfoot. Such an underrated character to me. The end scene where she and Tigerclaw were talking and giggling felt bittersweet, considering she would eventually watch him grow up to be a such terrible person (as implied by the cutscene), and be separated from him in death. This was a very beautiful MAP! The backgrounds, the animation, the lighting, and the emotions were flawless in every part! I also absolutely adore the designs! The Leopardfoot design was such a unique take considering she’s usually just portrayed as really dark grey with a few black spots, and I also love the mix of orange in Tigerclaw’s coat. Usually I just see him as really dark brown, but I think the orange mixes in really well! Especially considering he has “tiger” in his name. So anyways yeah! Great job everyone :)

I just realized the entire Pinestar line was a failure of fathers 💀 Pinestar, Tigerstar, Bramblestar

Leaopard foot definitely was one of the characters with one of the saddest lifetimes in the books, pinestar leaving, two kits dying, then the last kit being Tigerstar one of the most evil cats ever, poor leapordfoot

I love how she goes back and tells pine what happened to the kits, and his reaction makes her literally attack him! She wasn't some fragile queen, she was a damn warrior and she her reaction in the books made me want so much more for her

I always felt extremely sad for Leopardfoot because she's very much a victim she was only 5-6 moons old when Bluekit was born, and Pinestar had long since been leader. And than he just leaves her, and she has no one to comfort her. And than her 2 daughters die, and her only son becomes a murderer

I always love how this community takes the canon characters and give them the most creative takes - in this case, one I kinda really wish the Erins had done with Leopardfoot instead of just making her proud and kinda mean instead. This is is easily in my top five favorite MAPs! I love the song choice, the character designs, the fantastic animation and how well each part leads into the next! And that post credits scene was heartbreaking.
