Bear in mind that three of the four people who named Q Acoustics as their favorite under $1k speakers work for Q Acoustics importer Fidelity Imports, who also paid for the trip.

Ask an audiophile for something under a thousand, get a recommendation for something a little over a thousand. Some things never change.

    Micca RB-42 - Can't be beat for $ and size.🤯

There must be something there with the Q Acoustic. Sounds like a speaker worth checking out. Awesome video.

What's REALLY crazy about the "High-End" or "audiophile" world, is that speakers are all pretty much the same or similar in basic concept and design, within a reasonably narrow window of extremes, (they're ALL an electromechanical way of converting electrical signals into physical air movement that our ears can actually hear), AND the basic premise of a loudspeaker in general is also relatively simple, especially when compared to all of the other components in the audio chain, but yet speaker PRICES, from the absolute cheapest, (usually used or second hand), to the absolute MOST ridiculously expensive brand new ones, is a TOTALLY ridiculous RATIO of literally about 1 MILLION to 1, which is almost unbelievable, but totally TRUE!

Great video, Randy ! Concept, photography, everything. What a crew to travel with!

Hope your 3 hour trip goes better than those with Gillgan. Stuck on a desert island with 10 audiophiles would be crazy.

Thanks! I really enjoyed this video, and I am very jealous!! What beautiful scenery, both inside and out.

Surprised Tom Martin did not say the Magnepan LRS Plus since his one video said it was the speaker of the decade as I remember.

Favorite still my first that wasn't built into the stereo. Bose 601 Series III. Purchased in the early 90s at the NEX overseas. It was a huge deal for me at the time and got me completely hooked. Sounded amazing even on the cheap receiver I had at the time.

Love your videos on Italian hi fi, I have always recognized Italy as having a tremendous passion for the culinary arts. Their passion is on display on everything that they do and you would be surprised when you look into something that you love that Italians also have a hand on those products. It’s no surprise to me that their audio components are built to those high standards, I’m just waiting for their components to be shipped with an espresso, a slice of pizza or some prosciutto inside😋😋 I love your videos, keep up the great work

Thank you for sharing these perspectives with us all, which just demonstrates the subjective nature of our hobby. I hope you're doing well, Sir. Take care.
