I test and review the breakfast sandwich maker, a coffee machine with a timer, a pot stirrer, and an automatic can opener. Are these kitchen gadgets any good at helping to make your morning breakfast routine any easier and quicker?

Would you consider any of these machines? What is your breakfast of choice?
  • @EnBunk
Good explanation, straight to the point, no annoying intros, use of the tools correct. Just pure gem.

So glad you oiled it. So many times Ive watched youtubers who seem to not know oil helps things from sticking lol

The thing about one trick machines....they take up space....when you can just have an electric grill, or the good old pan and spatula

This channel feels like browsing Amazon while watching the British version of the office.

I have the sandwich maker and I can provide a tip of putting the muffin on the bottom, then the cheese, then the meat.... That way the cheese melts and cooks into the muffin. Otherwise as the way you've done it, causes a slick mess and has more opportunity for the cheese to drip out. Also with the egg, actually break the yolk and scramble it a slight bit, it helps with the uniformity of the layer. I've been using mine for about 7 years, a few times a week. Ham as you saw is a bit more moist and causes a bit of a watery drip. I found that daubbing the ham some with some paper helps a little bit, or using a meat like you did with the sausage that doesn't turn so much into a wet mess. Cheers!

This is one of those channels that has the best videos to just binge watch, it’s comforting to watch the videos and feel the nostalgia 🦕

I love the fact that you took the time to show solutions to all the issues that arose
  • 4:03 I saw that Back To The Future mug. One of my favorite movie franchises ever. Also love that mini cooper mug. I’ve been subscribed to you for about 3 or 4 years now and you never fail to entertain me as your upbeat yet calm voice is relaxing and I’m impressed with all the products and videos you’ve shown over the years👍
  • When the title said automatic breakfast maker, I thought of a machine that would prepare a whole breakfast itself for me, lol, and ws really curious what kind of a robot it was. IT still is a cool little gadget, if you have space in your kitchen to store it without cluttering your counters. I first liked the idea of auto-stir thingy, but noticing the legs were plastic and it was not stirring the center part, I am a bit dubious. Can opener is great if you are unable to find the old style can openers anywhere, which is my current situation, it seems like nobody sells them anymore :S

I've had the breakfast sandwich maker for years and I love it. I only use half a slice of cheese, which I half again to fit the muffin better. No cheese ever leaks out. I also scrabble the yolk more, like someone else said. Comes out perfect every time.

I once had the big brother of the coffee maker, well almost. It came with a pot, but you could turn off the heating plate, so I could even brew into my Lazy Mug or my Mighty Mug. It had a build-in coffee grinder with a container that could contain almost a whole bag off coffee beans, and could be adjusted for both coarseness and amount and even turned off for when using preground coffee. You could also adjust how the water was spread (center, narrow shower and wide shower). And it of course had the timer. Downsides: It had an ordinary filter compartment, so you had to use paper filters. And it was also a somewhat bulky.

Music is so nostalgic of early 2010s youtube. Keep up the good work!

Good for you for using Scott Joplin ragtime music in the background.

The only mistake you made with the sandwich maker is that you placed a wrong size of the sandwich, you saw the egg became the bread itself😂😅
  • I don't know why but your channel takes me back to my childhood and it brings back so many beautiful memories. Thank you for that🙏

We love our "Yes You Can" can opener, I'm going to look in your bio to see if you have a link for the breakfast maker. Thanks For Sharing ❤ Merry Christmas Dave 🎄🎁🧑‍🎄🙏🏻

I’ve had one of those breakfast sandwich makers for years. I love it!!! I use a fork to push the yoke down and kinda spread it. Not so much wisk, just spread. Makes it a little more even.

I had to get one of those since i enjoy my breakfast sandwiches. Im sure scrambling the egg more and adding a little shredded spinach would make it better and more consistent. Looking forward to making breakfast sandwiches for the cheap!
