I see it takes 3 drummers to play what Baker played. Many didn't understand a man who grew up poor with nothing that learned to play on cans he made & turned out to be 1 of the best. GOD blessed you Mr. Peter Edward Baker in a way money could not buy.

Wood is hysterical - Clapton seemed to say to him - a little feedback. Let's not forget Ronnie played and lived with Hendrix - he takes a back seat to nobody and he is having a blast.

Gibson 11, Stratocaster, 6. Woody hilarious, the footwork, the slide solo. Man, was his guitar hot in the mix! Both men have a long history together. If Ronnie Lane could look down from heaven and see this performance. And George Harrison as well. And Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker. God bless, each and every one.

Eric hasn’t lost any power in his voice or playing. I count myself lucky to have seen most of the greats live over the years. No sampling or fake backing just pure musicianship.

Just before finding this video i was watching the movie " the last waltz " from 1976 and saw ronnie wood and eric clapton playing together . How cool it is to find them 44 years later playing together ... Very emotional
  • Ronnie’s stuff with The Faces stands the test of time,He’s a true Rocker.
  • @wesrman
Notice how Ronnie's rhythm and dancing helps elevate Eric's solo? That's what it's all about. Would have loved to see them touring together. Thanks for sharing.
  • This is unique. I'm 42. When I was say 15, there were very few or no 75 year olds, playing a 52 year old, popular song, at a tribute to another 75+ year old, in front of adoring fans. Just imagine being 15 today, discovering this music, still being played by it's original performer, who is the same age as their grandfather.

  • The fun starts at 1:30. Eric steps out on his solo. Ronnie at 2:50 is priceless, Totally feeling it. What a great recording and that slide? Damn.
  • @stefanod8360
