I know akaza was playing with Rengoku the whole fight but the fact that he overpowered him by strength alone at last second and made him panic says a lot about his potential. Just imagine this beast with a slayer mark.

Yes Muichiro soloed gyokko but given hes the descendant of Tsugikuni clan and awakened the mark he deserves the win. Meanwhile Kyojuro, self-taught through a guide book, held against the 3rd strongest upper moon and almost beheading akaza. Tanjiro was right you know. He didnt lose.
