I was originally actually not going to do this one at all. When listening to the whole soundtrack, I found this song was mostly just Blue Skies and a Battle with Edge of Dawn as the melody, so in my cover of Blue Skies I referenced the theme. However my comments have been flooded with requests for this one anyway so how could I resist?
It honestly was awesome to come back to it because I had some ideas that didn't work for the first one that I could prepare for from the start. I wanted to hit the bridge section with a Contortionist/Periphery style clean section but since the last one was more classical guitar based, I wanted to keep that idea. This time I was able to craft the arrangement around more of that idea. Plus since I released that one, I went through a few different mix overhauls so I think this one sounds a lot cleaner and bigger than that one.
Still so many Fire Emblem songs I'd like to do, but I've been itching to do more stuff from the new Pokémon game! Let me know what you want to hear from this game or that one and I'll consider it moving into December! Thanks for watching! :)

You ALREADY did a Blue Skies and a Battle cover. NOBODY ASKED YOU TO GO THIS HARD- AND HERE YOU ARE. I absolutely ADORE how you manage to make the "aesthetic" sound of the two songs so distinctly different. You keep the friendly rivalry/competative spirit in Blue Skies, but in this one- where most covers lean hard into the desperation, you put a lot more accent on the tragedy. I legitimately wept as I made my first couple pass throughs of this cover. God DAMN how can one bard ROCK SO HARD!!!?

Don't stop! Keep them coming! I'd love to see a cover of The Long Road, that song just screams "this war is a slog which is killing all our friends". From Pokemon, some Gym Challenge battle music would be awesome.
