As an Octane main for almost 4 years now, one big mistake I see so much from other Octanes is them just running at the enemy with their stim or jump pad while the enemy is at full health. Octane isn't Wraith, he has no way to get out of danger when focused and cornered. Octane is best used at medium to long range as he can follow up on big damage and shield cracks way quicker than most other Legends. The enemy will stop to use some heals only for the Octane to be there in a split second before they can finish. I use snipers and marksman rifles all the time with an SMG to finish off low health players after I crack them from a distance. While not as fun as just running and gunning with an SMG and shotgun, for ranked it's a much more consistent play style for climbing. Staying back and using the jump pad to punish the enemy for taking too much damage will result in more kills and less deaths from unlucky situations and 3rd parties.

Playing vantage is so fun ngl, being able to change ur position with ur tactical and mark/dmg enemies with ur sniper is amazing. Her passive actually helps alot too in my opinion, knowing what evo shields they have, what legends the enemy is and seeing how many people are left is just great.

Wraith and Revenant are those edgy characters alot of people just relate and gravitate to lmao

Vantage also has a "hidden" passive, which let's her zoom in while her weapons are holstered and it also gives the info of the passive.

As of now, Mirage has been moved into the support class. Honestly I'm happy they moved him there too coz I always said he fits as a hybrid of both offense and support. More so over the buffs he's gotten overtime

This is very helpful. Only thing I wish u went over if the abilities can hurt or effect ur own teamates. Being new I never know if I can run thew somthing my teammate did or if I will hurt them aswell as the enemy

Im original crypto main with rare value got a high motor & very competitive but i mostly choose NewCastle, catalyst or caustic for my secondary choice but at the time i dont have a particular 3rd legend to focus with for getting to the next level in my ranked gameplay

You forgot to mentioned skirmishers can tell if someone took the care package weapon and check what it is on the mini map which is insanely good to check if there is per example a kraber in play
