I met Gaga by chance randomly in Manhattan she was cool as shit . Humble n beautiful soul who took the time 2 or 3 min we spoke . She didn’t have to do that . Love this woman ❤️

Elton has been singing this song for more than 4 1/2 decades. I used to listen to this in the mid-70s. He still makes it fresh. Lady Gaga is the icing on the cake!

Seeing Elton do this song so passionately reminded me of when he performed it with George Michael and I almost broke down in tears!... little did Elton know at the time of this taping that at the following Christmas his mate George, a comrade whom also fought for Aids awareness etc. Would die (of natural causes) ... may his Soul forever be in Peace! ... You are both Legends! Much Love!

It's so frustrating to me that Elton is the only one left out of him, George, and Freddie, I miss the other two so much and miss their performances together. But damn am I so proud of him for keeping on and singing this song in particular. Gaga did a great job. I can't say she did it as much justice as George did imo but she did a great job nonetheless.

No one will ever, ever top George Michael and Elton live. Once George sang this song Elton said he took it to another level. So much so that the song charted number one all over the world. Check out that version. George Michaels vocals are Beyond extraordinary.
