I've always wondered how much life would be better if Earth was between 1% and 5% bigger. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it would mean more space for people to live in. The slight increase in gravity would me stronger, more resilient people as well as buildings. Technology to get people off the surface would also be increased. This would lead to a slightly more advanced civilization, which is almost certainly a good thing. Could we already have a lunar colony if the planet was, say, 2.5% bigger? Getting to Mars would actually be easier since a larger planet means higher escape velocity, which in turn means faster spacecraft, allowing us to get to Mars faster. It would also mean more lead time to deal with asteroids.

Lets be honest, this would create more war then less war
