Thanks for the great review, just bought one, running for a week, it's every thing you say. A real pleasure.

Many thanks for this informative and comprehensive review. I no longer have a family member at home and use my PC for storage and streaming duties, but there is a need/use for this equipment. I do believe there are cheaper competitors to this, but it will boil down to individual environments. I am interested in hearing your review on the DAC. Thank you for your time and efforts to review and share this with us all. Much appreciated.

I love my MXN10 for Qobuz and the radio. It sounds fantastic and is beyond a CD. The only thing that beats it is a very high end LP that is AAA that costs between $60 and $150. It's sway better than Bluesound and the app more stable than BlueSound.

Good to know the comparison to the internal streamer within the Strata.

Hey man with your thoroughness and review style, I wonder if you'd ever consider doing display/monitor reviews? I know audio is your thing, I just think you'd be pretty good at it.

Were you able to, or did you test, gapless playback via USB connected drives? I'm thinking of live concert recordings specifically. Thanks, great review!

Great reviews! I posted this question on one of your older videos, not realizing it was older... I am looking for an upgrade path on headphones and wanted your thoughts specifically. Here is the question. Can you recommend a headphone around $500? I would prefer it to be a little under 500. I am looking at the senheisser hd660s2, hd650, hd600, hifiman edition xs. I already have the hd560s, hifiman he400se, harmonicdyne Athena, pc38x, h6pro open, game one, SS Nova pro wired, audeze Penrose. Using ifi Zen air can and air dac, for gaming dacs nova pro dac, sound blaster gc7, and the g6. I am looking for something warm, smooth, clear, with good soundstage and imaging. I prefer wired not interested in wireless. Thank you for any advice you can give, it is much appreciated.

  • @OverHaze

Hello, nice review. Please, I want to know if this device can play gapless hi-res files stored on an external HDD. At the same time, if it can offer access to radio stations via the Internet, I am thinking of those radio stations that I now access thru TuneIn service. Thank you.

Using an iPhone with Apple Music set at its highest resolution for wifi streaming, I presume I then merely choose the AXN10 as the airplay speaker in which case I have two questions: 1. What is the highest resolution the AXN10 can receive and then play? 2. Is the stream magic app on my iPhone then redundant or can it still be used concurrently with the iPhone’s Apple Music app? Thank you.
  • @alanrichey5745
I already have the DacMagic 200m. Currently connecting my computer to it and streaming Tidal. It sounds great but isn’t convenient. If I were to get this, is there any reason to keep the DAC? It seems pretty redundant. Thanks for what you do!
  • @tracehazarrrrd
My connection is weak so it's probably not even worth trying unless I get a mesh network which would cost nearly as much as the streamer. So few streamers work well from wifi. If I thought this one could I'd consider it.
