So they go with a candidate that got not a single primary vote. Thats democracy I guess lol.
  • "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all". Umm it says REPUBLIC. FJB.

  • This is a fine speech, Sir, and well put. However I have one concern: As a senior myself, (I am 76, hubby is 81), we remain active, vocal and committed to our local neighborhood (French Quarter New Orleans)... We're hoping as older people make room for the younger, that our wisdom and counsel do not go ignored. We have lived, experienced and witnessed much. Woodstock, Vietnam, the deaths of both Kennedys, Martin and Malcolm. WTC 9/11, on and on....And we can offer our perspective and history. Even as younger, stronger hands assume power and, take the wheel. Let us be a source....Thank you, Mr. President. Our heartiest good wishes and, respect to you.
  • I'm not a Biden fan, but I deeply respect and appreciate his chess move. In fact, he's allowed FOUR BIG THINGS to now be turned on Trump's cult. (1) The insurrection. The fact that some relinquish power for the good of the nation. The sacrifice! (2) The age criticisms. I mean, come on! Trump is senile! (Also, the party is weak and the fans are idiots to not have prepared for this!) (3) The caucus. I've seen numerous people saying that they can't just switch candidates like this. I had to ask if these people really believe that Trump secured the nomination through primary votes alone. And I live in Nevada, so... (4) Presidential immunity. Thank you, President Biden! Mistakes and all, history has its eyes on you!
