The correct pullchain will depending on how many capacitor values it has. If there's only one capacitor value with speed coils to operate medium and low, then its correct replacement chain is Zing Ear 268S1 (L-1, L-2, L-3). The wiring diagram follows: Power wire (Black): position L High speed wire from reverse switch: position 1 Medium speed wire from speed coil: position 2 Low speed wire from speed coil: position 3. If there's two capacitor values, then its correct replacement chain is Zing Ear 268S2 (L-1-2-3, L-2-3, L-1-3) The wiring diagram follows: Reverse switch wire: position L Lower value wire from dual capacitor: position 1 Higher value wire from dual capacitor: position 2 Power wire (Black): position 3 If there's three capacitor values, then its correct replacement chain is Zing Ear 268S2 (L-1, L-2-3, L-3) The wiring diagram follows: Power wire (Black): position L High speed wire from common capacitor wire (which is also tied into the reverse switch): position 1 Higher value wire from speed capacitor: position 2 Lower value wire from speed capacitor: position 3 There's some exceptions of pullchain used on triple-capacitor fans.
