HTVRONT Auto Tumbler Heat Press SUBLIMATION

Published 2023-10-16
After several weeks of use, I’m giving you my full fledged, totally transparent, honest opinion about the HTVRONT Auto Tumbler Heat Press… AND doing a side by side comparison of the one I purchased from Amazon.
( I apologize for the quality of this video. I was experiencing technical difficulties)
***Also my camper mugs are 12oz... NOT 15 oz.

  • Hey friends. I feel the need to update you all. About 3 weeks ago my Amazon press went out on me. When turned on … the power switch would light up but the press would not heat up. I reached out to the company but never got a response. I ordered a new press attachment from a different company but that still didn’t fix the issue. Mind you the day before it went out I had pressed about 20 tumblers back to back and didn’t give the machine any downtime. I ended up taking it apart and tried my best to troubleshoot with the help of YT. No luck. A good friend who can fix just about anything took a look at it and said that he discovered a bad lead wire. He replaced the wire and said it’s heating just fine. I should have it back in my possession next week and will put it back to use. I truly believe this is a great machine but I overheated it or overused it that day.
  • To much pressure usually causes the tape marks and stickiness. All you have to do is wash it and the tape mark and stickiness should go away. Thank you for this video.
  • You’re so kind karen and very well explanation for all the details. Goodluck!

I do 15 ounce ceramic cups using my new Htvfront. It is a VERY tight fit. But they turn out well. I had problems using it in my basement. The power would often just blink. When I put a cup in it, it would work but it would heat up with the cup in it. So I had to keep increasing the time. But when I brought it up stairs and use a different outlet, it does now work.

Thanks! This is an awesome video. I also use the minimum amount of tape, and I re-use it too! For printing I use the Epson 2800 that I put sublimation ink into. My Cricut mug press just died and I need something new, this video has really helped me decide. Thanks!

Thank you for this video. I've been looking for a comparison video like this to decide which tumbler press to buy.

Btw, thank you SOOOO MUCH for this video comparison! I just took the jump and bought the htvront tumbler press but am getting it returned. I’m so glad I didn’t end up being disappointed when I tried to do a camp mug and it didn’t fit!
  • Thank you so much for the review! It's pretty nice! And the machine looks great too!
  • I bought the Makerflo sublimation bundle with the F170 and the Htvront tumbler press. I tried it out last night. I had some ghosting so I hope my technique improves 😊
  • Really like the HTVRONT auto tumbler heat press! Thanks for sharing!

I love your craft room. You should put a big window right where you have your heat presses. And get a reversible fan for the window. It will suck the sub fumes out. Or get a mosquito screen cover for your door. I use both items and they work well.

Thank you so much for your tutorial, you’re Amazing and I’m subscribing to your channel. I have ghosting with a couple of tumblers using the auto press and got disgusted. And I used a lot of tape in which like you I don’t like using. I have an old press and oven and I like those! But I’ll attempt the way you taped them, but I also use parchment paper as well to prevent bleeding onto the press. Thank you so much! Happy crafting!

I know nothing about sublimation so this was very informative for me. I’m guessing the term ghosting means the white edges where the image didn’t take to the tumbler? Thanks for always sharing your knowledge and experiences with us! You’re awesome! 😊
  • @Pattiann5983
Love your videos! Thank you for this comparison.
  • I do a lot of sublimation tumblers also and regardless of what machine you use I feel that taping like you did for the htvront is the best because you get complete color to the rim. Just my opinion, but every crafter crafts differently and It’s what you prefer.

Mine arrives tomorrow, i mostly do full wraps but 90% of what i sell are 11oz mugs So i am hoping when putting 2 in at a time they turn out ok, i always tape all around top and bottoms as even with my normal mug press i sometimes get where edges have not pressed correct
  • @marklola12
I just use a Epson wf 2010. All i did was buy the emptry cartridges and refill them myself each time with sub ink, onky takes 10 mins. I did have a ecotank but there are issues because ecotanks have a permanent print head if you go a week or less if its warm weather without using it you have to keep doing head cleans and eventually after doing too many it messes up the printer and has to be chucked away.
  • @jrzgrl66
I was just able to get the green version of your Amazon press for about $90 after discounts. THANK YOU
  • Appreciate the comparison video. The struggle is real trying to decide which is best press. I noticed in the background some tumblers on a rotating stick if you will. Can you demo or tell what the purpose is? Asking because I have one gifted to me that I have no idea what it’s for.

Awesome press, I've beed looking for something better than what i'm doing. I have had a vinyl graphics machine for 20 years but time comsuming. I'm going to research this some more and may go that route.
