Hi friends, happy Monday!

Today I’m talking about a creep who went undiscovered for so long and got away with murdering at least 16 people. His nicknames include “The Grim Sleeper,” “Strawberry Murders,” and “The Southside Slayer.” This case never got the attention it deserved, and was ignored for a long time. How they finally caught him is crazy, too. Let me know what you guys think.

Also, let me know who you want me to talk about next time. Hope you have a great rest of your week, make good choices and I'll be seeing you very soon
xo

Imagine my surprise when I see Bailey talking about my grandmas case! Enietra is doing just fine if anyone was curious. She's a very strong and sweet woman 🩷 thank you Bailey for speaking on this
  • @tokyotrashvlog
"If I die, I'm going to haunt you." This is true badassery.
  • @wammy3912
I love how Bailey reiterated how insignificant this man's face was. "There was not one single thing special about this man" 😂 Get him, girl.
  • @eamari87
Ingrid and Enietra are the heroes of this story. Remarkable women who refused to be victims and helped put a total POS away. Sending love and light to I. and E.! 🙌
  • @aj32769
I hope Ingrid and Enietra have peace in life. Their bravery and survival is so incredible
  • That’s why those of us who grew up in the 80’s, grew up with the whole mantra “stranger danger”, and “don’t talk to strangers”. Then they later said it was terrible to teach your kids such things, because you’re going to make them afraid of other people. Look…. We need to be afraid of other people. lol. Sad, but true!
  • You should really do a video on Samuel Little! He killed 93 women and had hand drawn portraits of his victims.
  • @rayay248
Imagine how different things could have been if Ingrid had just gotten real justice
  • @antjarr
this deranged man saying “that’s what’s wrong with you black women” to enietra gave me chills. it’s just a reminder that even in the hands of our own community, we are not safe. protect black women.
  • @bristolbenjamin
Thanks for doing this!!! My mom’s favorite cousin was one of the victims and she’s terrified to this day of Ubers and us(her daughters) trusting people. She was heard to be a free soul that loved to party and was made to look like she was an addict or pr***tute and left in a dumpster. Life is precious. Thanks for the way you respect and delivered this.
  • Hi! I have a masters degree in human genetics, we discussed this case in a bioethics class to weigh the ethical considerations of using DNA for criminal cases since this was the first case to do so! It was fascinating to hear you tell the story, hearing more context aside from just the trial documentation gave me a different appreciation for familial DNA to solve such a heinous string of crimes.
  • @yallternatively
Her comment, “If I die, I’m going to haunt you,” really showcased her fighting spirit. I’ll see myself out.
  • @linger6666
Wow, Ingrid is so strong emotionally. I can't even imagine being able to play nice to my abuser in that situation, her staying calm enough to fool him was an insanely powerful move
  • @boohoolulu2503
Thank you Baliey!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SINGING THE SONG:face-red-heart-shape::face-red-heart-shape::face-red-heart-shape::face-red-heart-shape: AND FOR ALL YOUR EFFORTS!!!!
  • @littlemisspullen
Honestly everytime Bailey talks about a case involving a black lady my heart sinks, we all know how it’s gunna go - she won’t be listened to or believed or no one will care and man, some of these stories are from post 2020, I just want to give them a hug and shout LISTEN TO HER!!!!
  • @Healthevoid
It’s so crazy to me that after kidnapping and r*ping someone they only give three years and usually they always let them out early . They always end up committing the same crime or worse ! It makes no sense !!!
  • @katie93.mp4
Regardless of whether Enietra was rude, and I sincerely doubt she was, you shouldn't ever worry about manners when someone is making you feel unsafe. Sometimes being "rude" will save your life.
  • @chaoswitch1974
Thank you for pointing out how terrible crime was during the 70's and 80's. I read so many comments online about how "terrible and dangerous things are today" and how "we're lacking ethics", when things are significantly better than they were 30-50 years ago. Crime dropped exponentially from 1993 on, yet many people think the opposite is true. They don't even bother researching when you tell them this either.
  • @eeeeeeee60
My husband works with firearms and I've never even heard of a 25 caliber. That kind of weapon was a BIT more common in the 80s, but not by much .... ANOTHER clue the police missed to connect these poor women together! Ugh!
