I dont think theyre actually after abby. I think thats what the police officer thinks, but after seeing freddy holding her hand, i think theyre actually trying to protect her from mike who they see as a threat, which she probably doesn't realize

What I believe is that they’re going to pull a sort of “plot twist” with the Afton family. I think that in the movie, Mike and Abby are going to believe that their parents are dead/abandoned them and so at the end/near the end of the movie, there will be a dramatic Star Wars like scene where William reveals himself to Mike and has a whole “I am your father” moment, thus revealing to the audience in a twist that “oh, Mike’s real name is Michael Afton” blah blah blah

Props to Jim Henson's Workshop for making the animatronics look almost exactly how they look in the games. Most movie studios would try to make their own versions of characters that look nothing like the source material, so this is refreshing to see them stay faithful to the games' designs

Surprised I haven't seen more people say this, but I'm pretty sure the animatronics are going to turn out to be good. It will be assumed they wanna hurt Abby, but in reality they think they're keeping her safe from William.

I feel like the fountain/punching scene is foreshadowing how mike lost his last job before the pizzeria. This would answer the question of “who would work here willingly” someone who can’t work somewhere else do to past incidents at previous places of work. He shows desperation in the beginning “security gaurd? I’ll take whatever you can give me/have” and that’s due to the fact that he might have been in trouble legally making it harder for him to find employment in general! Just my thoughts 😊

So first thoughts after watching the trailer. I think William Afton is still William Afton and I think he’s still Mike’s dad. It’s possible that they don’t recognize each other. This could be due to separating at a young age and using a different name. I also think Vanessa is working with William. She knows a little too much about the animatronics, and I think she’s lying about the animatronics. I think the animatronics are trying to protect Abby from Springtrap.

William might be working as a career counselor to find troubled people with kids so that no one would file a missing person's report. He can just basically pick them out from that position and choose which victims get to go to Freddy's

Idk if this was intentional, but Abby's "hello" sounded like balloon boy. Also, when Mike is calling William, they are wearing matching clothes with opposing colors. This could mean that they ARE related, and Mike has just been away so long that he doesn't recognize his dad's voice. Vanessa may have been looking into the other security guards going missing (perhaps William is torturing them with that bladed mask to get remnant) Also the scene where Mike is sad as a car drives away might allude to his brother going missing in the past (he could be golden Freddy which is why Abby and GF are buddies) I think Vannessa will be a love interest considering Mike was by her side at the hospital. Perhaps she follows game Vanessa's plot and gets enthralled to William in the later movies.

If you pay attention in the Springtrap scene You can clearly see William Afton inside of the suit with no sign of blood so we can say that the springlocks haven't been activated yet

I think it's interesting how on the Steve Raglan name plate there is the Career Counselor subtitle. To me this kinda screams that while William is the owner he has created a secondary identity which enable him to work at a temp agency or some other organization that helps to outfit people with employment. The humor of him saying "The owner isn't ready to let go of it" smacks very heavily of his brand in my eyes.

I noticed not a lot of people are taking about the drawing of “Bonnie” in the sand at 4:34. I’m pretty sure that’s a drawing of springtrap before the murders happened. Maybe it’s the last thing the child who possessed foxy saw before he died (I’m guessing he drew it). Also, I feel like foxy’s character is gonna have a lot of importance in this movie. The child who possessed him has had a lot of screen time (especially up close) in these trailers. At least compared to the other kids.

One thing i loved about the first game is how it was hintet that the whole pizzaria was haunted and not only the anamatronics. This is something that sadly was not seen much of in the other games, but i think they might bring that concept back for this movie (because the pizzeria turned on out of nowhere and woke up Mike).

I’ll be really disappointed if Matpat isn’t in the movie, he’s the reason a good percentage kept up with the series for this long
  • @breakyerface
With as long as this movie has been in production, I would be very surprised if this movie doesn't end with the springlock incident. It would be a great resolving end to the film and will leave room for a sequel. I don't think this movie will give us any new information, but I do think it will be a celebration of the story as we know it to that point. That way, it'll be a great jumping off point for anyone who hasn't gotten into the games to be able to play the first three without having to watch hours and hours of YouTube videos to try and decipher the lore. The best way this movie can serve the franchise as a whole, from a business perspective anyhow, is to create new casual fans and make it easier for them to digest the information without too much digging... much like the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That said, I expect we see a bundled re-release of the first three games when the movie comes out. Not remasters, but perhaps with a little bit of movie branding.
  • @AmericanJustus
Personally I think Golden Freddy has always had a rather dark shade of gold than the bright one we see in the secret games. Perhaps it‘s also due to the cinematic coloring
  • @Epicificator300
A couple things I noticed after re-watching the trailer a few times: Bonnie is blue, which is the way they're depicted in the books On the picture with the 5 kids and Springtrap, all the kids line up to the ones depicted in the books as well! Seems like we're going off of book lore for this movie, which will be interesting to say the least..

It's so nice to see how much your community has grown in the last years
  • @maxy2328
this man reveals all the easters eggs just a few hours after it's release. love the dedication my friend!
  • @adamrathosky1441
I hope Markiplier has some kind of cameo/reference because he had a huge part in the series success.(even if it’s something small like Abby calling Chica “Mr.Ducky” or she yells for Freddy to save her like Mark from the Monty chase scene from security breach)
