“its a civil problem” until Tyler Oliveira gets involved lollll
  • @blueerosion
This might be the dumbest political issue in America today. How is this even a problem? If someone who is not a legal tenant of the property enters without the homeowner’s permission, or if someone simply refuses to pay rent, then they should be kicked out. It’s literally that simple.

If you steal a car, you go to prison. If you steal from a shop, you go to prison. But if you steal a house, it's a civil matter? In what fucking world is this the situation?
  • Simple solution. Wait until the legislators go on vacation and then squat in their houses. It gets solved REALLY quick.
  • @cadenelson891
‘They couldn’t do anything about trespassing because it’s private property” is an oxymoron. I’m so confused right now
  • @Justjustinp
I love how the cops were trying so hard to explain the situation, realized how stupid it was, then gave up.
  • @NigelThornbery
The only way this law would change is if people started squatting in politicians and judges houses.

Do an interview with my ex's Dad, he runs construction scams around Sacramento. He runs off with peoples money and files bankruptcy, then changes his company name and does it again. You can't trust anyone. He lives in a super nice house in a great neighborhood, all paid for by scamming hard working people.

I live in Western WA, and allowed my granddaughter and her two children to come stay with me back in November, supposedly temporarily. She was able to get a job finally 2-3 months ago, but she will not find a place to live. I have not been able to get her out, because of the way the law is. In this state, if someone stays with you for 30+ days, you cannot kick them out, but have to start laborious eviction proceedings. In the meantime, I pay rent on the house, but because of conflict with my granddaughter and how messy she is, not cleaning up after herself or her kids (plus her cat destroying my furniture and attacking my tiny dog), I have been staying at my office for the last 2 months. It's extremely frustrating. I would love to have my home back.

11:35 Caesar popping up from that door like a reoccurring sitcom character who's fate was left ambiguous two season ago but his actor just returned to the series was one of the most legendary moments of this channel.
  • @lordgasman9099
the cop slowly realizing maybe he shouldn't have picked sides so quickly is easily the best part of this video

In Spain there is a similar problem, some home owners hire a group called Desokupa, which basically means hiring a mob of squatters to move in with your current squatter and ultimately they get tired and leave.
  • @tianna1116
34:56 😂😂😂 the look on the squatter Steve guys face when Tyler’s says “we’re roommates now” hahaha he’s like oh shit, they’ve finally caught on, they’re using my own logic against me damm
  • @cdaway2024
IF ANYBODY CAN CLAIM THE HOUSE WITHOUT PENALTY THEN WHY IS THE ACTUAL HOME OWNER BEING ARRESTED? THOSE ARE GOVERNMENT ASSISTED HOME INVASIONS. 😏☝🏾💯⚖️
  • @stand355
We should identify the root of the problem. How are politicians profiting off this?
  • So when the police officer said "dont come to my home, you'll regret it." Kinda sounds like he's making a threat against you.
  • Cop: “ how long have you lived here?” Tyler : “10 months” Cop: “well then you live here” What the actual fff
  • @HalalCatt
The way Steve was just completely baffled when Tyler says "well I live here now"
  • @chrisgrieve9533
This is also happening in Canada because the landlord tenant board has 1000's of cases still waiting to be seen in court due to the pandemic. The fact that a police officer can't arrest the squatter for theft, trespassing, destruction of private property, etc, is beyond pathetic. I have heard in Canada that if you, the homeowner or landlord, quit paying the utility bills, you can be charged with a crime. That is the definition of insane.
