I never knew this kid was alive. I wandered down to the shore by the grove and fought off the harpies... but the kid was already d3ad when I got there.

Btw you can actually reach the nest that he speaks of after you save him, it's on a small cliff way in the back, you can go through the shallow water at the shore and reach further into the back, but you'll need a character with high strength because you need to do alot of high jumps to reach it I only discovered it on my 3rd playthrough

if you use a sleep spell on the child you can skip the dialog and directly go into the fight

If you pickpocket the kid with Tav, Astarion says "You villain! I didn't think you had it in you" with a grin

I missed it my first but on my second play, which I'm on now I was like... This obvious siren will not fool me OR harm astarion so immediately I said the stop it or whatever line. Yet my tav continues to be swooned... As if I didn't tell the whole beach to shut their ears. Larian doesn't let us win just cause we knew in really life lol
