1.- Don’t fast for your physical body. 2.- Don’t fast to be seen by others. 3.- Expect opposition. 4.- Start small. 5.- Make sure my heart is right. 6.- Do not rush. Start your fast when the sun goes down. 7.- Remember to celebrate when you accomplish the fast. 8.- Know what you are fasting for. 9.- Pick your fast. 10.-Learn to pray during fast.

You do HAVE to do it! Jesus said, “When you fast!” He expected us to do it.

When our little girl was born she spent her first week on Earth in the NICU due to a malady, on the 9th day the doctors told us that if her condition didn’t improve they would recommend surgery to correct it. We sent out a call to family and friends for prayer, more than 100 souls prayed for her and in addition about 10 of us went on a 24 hr. fast. The doctors would later tell us they couldn’t explain her sudden improvement but we knew, Christ had answered the prayers and our little girl got to come home. I’ve been a Christian all my life but this is my first time hearing about fasting making prayer more potent. I give all the honor and glory to the almighty Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and I hope my testimony helps you to grow in the faith! 🙏✝️

I started my fast January 1st and it was something I wanted to do for a while and it is my first fast and guess what fast I choose to do 🤦🏿 40 days and 40 nights why because i am uneducated on the bible and its true meanings so yea im still in it 10 days now 30 to go pray for me please 🙏 thank you

Forgetting my heart, i’ve been led by my emotions for far too long. I want to fast because my heart just feels wrong i’m not as close as I would like to be but I know feelings aren’t fact, He is close to me. I need Jesus, i’m struggling with a lot of condemnation and unforgiveness towards myself and others. I really just need help, I know He can deliver me and I know He will overcome everything. Im dealing with having a bypass. Im really afraid. I have 4 stents and recently whent for a catherezation which they said are clogged and need a bypas. I recently started fasting and asking God to repair my heart. And will continue to fast every weekend. Pray for me and fast with me im 66 yrs old. And live alone. My name is Hector. 3 years + ago my cousin who didn't believe in God asked me if I do fasting, I looked it up and saw that it said fasting can bring you closer to God Now I live a lifestyle of 1 meal every 24 hours and am Vegan and constantly praying Amazing how God sent my cousin, a non-believer to me and I started fasting now my cousin is a believer and also fastings My tolerance is so how that ironically I spend time looking up various recipes to try when I brake my fast Cured my diabetes 2 and only consumed natural sugars from fruits and veggies and I feel 100x better My longest fast is 168 hours Ask the Lord what fast you should follow and he shall answer so no need to worry or follow others, follow the Lord Remember nothing is impossible with he lord by your side God Bless my brothers and sisters and never lose faith in the Almighty Farther

I Have had a lot of loss and trauma in my life,and had cancer myself,but Yeshua can do anything,but fail. will pray for you're families strength in our Savior to get through this devastation you are facing. God will see you through! Amen

I wish deeply to fast and pray..But I can't. When I was young I used to fast and pray during lent..Now in my 30s I am unable to do it because of many health issues..I pray that Jesus will heal me and someday I will able to do it again.

If you don’t fast you will become lukewarm. Fasting is required to kill your flesh. Matthew 6;17-16 WHEN, not if.

Every day in my 15 years of life since God brought me to him I intentionally fast on food from him. I fasted from the social media’s I used the most it’s hard but it is possible! Today i fasted for 6 hours without food nor water and it was hard but i made it through.

I tell my mom when Im gonna fast cause im mostly in my room when I do it, and since I share rooms with my brother, I tell my mom and letting her know for no one to walk in.
