Using this in my wedding. We met each other in West Virginia 20 years ago; however, I lived in Arizona at the beginning of our relationship. Then, after I moved across the country for our relationship (to Virginia), I moved back West to California for work as a wildlife biologist. I’m now back on the East Coast. This song is the perfect nod to the journey we have taken. I can’t wait. ♥️

This song spells closure of an on and off relationship, the line "when the sun goes down" describes the final time they end, the moment they realize they'll never work. They were meant to meet but not to be, but instead of remembering the bad times, the fights, the words spat at each other...they choose to remember the good moments, the time when they were in love, the "them" before it got toxic.
