This is a really amazing mod, it really does feel like what a "cancelled" 3rd Zelda game (4th GBA Zelda game, Mystic seed of Courage) would feel like, it reminds me what I first felt like discovering new places within the Lost Forest, wondering if their was places outside of Hyrule. Its strangely vindicating and reminiscent experiencing these long lost feelings of wonder brought up by this kickass mod. Great video Linkus!

Wind waker, the game Linkus knows very well, had a similar mechanic at dragon roost at 11:11. I'm surprised he was shocked by that. Also Skyward sword has it too in the Earth Temple but not as big. Edit: forgot Dodongo's Cavern exists too

I really would love Nintendo to make another Zelda game in this exact same style. I loved the look that OOT and MM had. Maybe the guys that made the 3ds remakes could do a 3rd game in the same style.

I absolutely love the music for the Deep Woods. It's like Link is visiting a familiar and yet unfamiliar place. It's the Lost Woods, but it's slowly changing, and the song shows this.
