Honestly it feels like glorified version of those lane battles custom games for W3 where you have a single lane and bases on each end of it.

Looks like an arcade version of an RTS with how fast paced it is.

Why does this look more visually polished than the stormgate rn

Looks great, Uncapped is actually pushing the boundaries of possibility... haven't seen this in a genre for many years

Maybe it's just me but all these new RTS have one thing in common. They have no visual identity, the graphics are decent but the design is so generic, I really miss the WC/SC days where each race was different and it felt like a whole universe was designed around it. That might not matter much for gameplay but it does matter in terms of mass appeal. Until these RTS companies realize that I dont think any of them are gonna be very successful. I wish them all the best though, hoping this one is gonna be fun.

An RTS without scouting or macro, and the complex expand vs rush vs attack decisions have been reduced to simple rock-paper-scissors of clicking the "expand" or "tech" or "build unit" button. I like Micro Wars and all, but this looks like one I'll bounce off of pretty quickly. Maybe it plays better than it looks but 🤷‍♂

Thanks so much for the explanations! This is one I'm excited to try!

This looks pretty good, but does everything just shoot lasers? Would be cool to see some other attacks.

I really like how different this is. It’s not really an RTS like anything before it, it is its own thing. It doesn’t even try to replace BW/SC2/WC3, which is good because frankly I think it’s impossible. Seems like a fun game to play with friends that might not have that RTS experience.

I'm loving the audio and visual design

Interesting! Units are not too small and battles seems to have a good flow to them. The auto-expansion mechanic - Did I get it right that you have no ability at all to choose which way the auto-expansion goes? I think that could enhance the strategic side of it. This map is kind of flat it seems, but I see many possibilities on creating interesting maps to change the gameplay a lot. Seems very promising. Oh, and the command center kinda looks like the bell on my kids bike.

Seems interesting it is more of a battle simulator rts

They cut out many 'unnecessaries', eventually reaching a point that nothing better than a Roblox room
