This made me cry. My name is Elin and I’m eleven years old. My dad passed away on August 8, 2021. My grandpa passed away on May 1, 2021. I big thing on my mind is when I find the one, who will walk me down the aisle. This reminds me I’m still daddy’s little angel even if he’s watching me from heaven. 👼🏼

Can you believe that I didn't even want to write this song? I thought everyone would still want to use Butterfly Kisses or I loved Her First. I'm a father of a beautiful 9 year old baby girl and this songs just make me cry no matter how strong I am I just can't hold back tears and I pray to our lord that I'm around when her day comes I also read some of the posting of some girls that lost their daddy's and they wish they were still here for their big day well let me tell you all you girls your daddy's will be there trust me on that my wife lost her father at age 9 and it broke my heart when we got married because she was in tears and I prayed to god to please give my wife a sign that he was there with us and she got it so that's why I say please don't be sad your daddy's are always there. My wedding was today. My daddy knows I love this song, we were going to dance to butterfly kisses but he surprised me with this perfect song instead. I love you daddy. This song has always brought tears to my eyes. I'm a foster kid and I don't know my real dad but the one I have known my entire life is perfect.

This song cuts really deep. I lost my father over 8 years ago and just recently married. I hope he was there, I miss him everyday. I only hope my daughter loves her father as much as I do mine. Miss you daddy!

My parents were divorced, when i was 13years old. And i was cared by my father. He was a kind and polite. Hard working man and very cooperative to everyone. He was died of oesophegeal cancer. It was the hardest moment to accept that my father was no more in this world. There is no doubt that i love my father more than my mother!! Father love is precious and rare!And lucky one like me can get the Father love!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

My dad didn't "give me away", my mom did. But my dad performed the ceremony instead and we still had the father daughter dance which this song was playing. Almost 6 years later I still listen to this song and cry every time because I remember the feeling of my dream come true dance.

I danced this with my Dad.  He had a stroke a couple of years ago so it was mostly me holding him up.  I am grateful to have that moment with him x
