Just a brief look inside the underpass on Chain bar lane and chain bar lane before it is wiped away by a new Aldi which is supposedly being built here. Interesting to think about all the people who may have lived here and remember it as it was. I wasn't sure if they will repair the tunnel or simply fill it in and block it off. It is somewhat redundant as it takes little effort to just cross the road and walk round but when the tunnel was built there used to be a dual carriageway over it which has since been downgraded to a 40 mph single carriageway road with cycle paths. Also a rant about Tossco and their blocked off rear entrance with no spare money to fix the doors even though they have 200 strip lights running in a huge blocked off carpark.
