It honestly makes me sick to hear Shane say things like “well it’s Jeffree. what did you expect?” like...I expect basic human decency from everyone, and implying otherwise is so dismissive of the hurt that Jeffree has caused to real people

The part that really really irks me is when Shane says “I missed the part where Jeffrer was baptized” .... really? You were the one who baptized him when you made TWO separate series specifically to do so! The beauty community saw him as a villain, and Shane as the one who made it his mission to show his humanity and I think that is now playing a huge role is why Shane is now crumbling the way he is.

“He’s family to me” if I had an ACTUAL family member who was “ecocentric, narcissistic, vengeful, two faced and a ticking time bomb ready to explode” I would distance and estrange myself from that person. These two are not even actually family.

Shane says James needed humble pie at 19 and was willing to ruin his career over evidence he wouldn't share. Meanwhile Shane was doing his blackface character at the age of 19 and there's tons of proof. I genuinely have never understood his popularity.

His whole statement was so hypocritical and full of contradictions. If you're going to hold other beauty influencers (like James Charles) to a specific standard, then Jeffree should be held to that standard too. He has no problem exposing other people, but can't hold his own friends accountable for their problematic behaviour because it doesn't fit his agenda (Jeffree, Trish, Tana etc.).

i knew something was a little off when shane initially planned to “expose” the beauty community, but eventually became one of them & profited off of it. idk it’s like that quote of u either die a hero or live long enough to be a villain lol
