2022 vs 2023

Hey, been a bit? Since I made a non-Timelapse video lol
Anyways uhm, update, I’m graduating high school next week. :p
I’m terrified lol

So, uhm, context for this video, just last semester I was in a pretty weird place where I was realizing a lottt about myself. One of those things I realized was - I don’t want to do art for my career. Like at all.
I still adore drawing and it gives me a bit of a safe place. But the idea of making it into my career when I was constantly battling Art block at that point sort of made me fall out of love with it. I still draw occasionally. But definitely not as much as I did two years ago when I was uploading at LEAST monthly.

So, new plan. I’m going into film. This school year sort of made me realize what I wanted to do, slightly. I took photography and theatre this year for two of my electives, and they made me realize I do still really want to get my work out there and write my own stories. But, I just don’t want to do it in the form of graphic novels or webcomics like I once did. So, I’m going to major in Film next year in college, and try to become a writer-director. Over the summer before August, I’m going to start making my own short films with my friends. I’m not sure if I’ll make a new channel for that or if I should just turn this channel into more of a hybrid type of thing, instead of only posting art. I’m more leaning towards making a new channel though.

Vim Vandalism will stay, but things will be different. For one, I’m not uploading as often as I used to (that much as obvious), but I’ll be doing different things as well. Art will still be a thing with me, just not as often.

Anyways, good luck to everybody graduating. Good luck to everybody who’s just moving on to the next school year. And good luck to everybody who’ve already graduated.
