Kyoto Animation has been known to produce high quality animation with a very fair working environment

It made its mark with a few of the most beautiful anime ever made and I hope they will continue to.

In light of the tragedy, I made this video to express how much of an impact KyoAni has made for the anime community and that we should all mourn for those that have passed away and do our best to support those that are alive

A fundraiser by Sentai Filmworks was made to support KyoAni in light of this tragedy and you can help donate an amount here
www.gofundme.com/f/help-kyoani-heal

Or you can support KyoAni by heading to their main website and purchasing digital goods here

The Sentai Filmworks fundraiser as of now has raised almost 2 million dollars over the span of less than a week. I myself have donated $20 and I hope everyone can do the same. Any amount is fine as it is just a gesture to show that we appreciate their work. If you can’t spare cash, you can share the fundraiser to people you know. What matters is that you recognise KyoAni’s significance, it doesn’t always have to be about the money. I’m honestly genuinely proud to be of this era and from this community where so much support, love and appreciation has been given out to a beloved studio that despite wasn’t perfect, made a huge impact to our lives and our community. I’m proud of us.

Seriously, the losses we made have shown us just how big our community is, we may have our differences but as a community we are of the same kind, we are one and we are strong. Let’s face this tragedy... together.

My deepest heartfelt condolences to the families of those that have passed...

Rest in peace, you will remain in our hearts as one of the greatest animation staff we could ask for.

I also thought about this and we should not only encourage KyoAni but encourage other staff from other companies too because this is an extremely horrific experience even for those not directly affected by it. We have to encourage the community of producers too, encourage them to stay strong and continue producing their masterpieces and works but of course, in the meantime. We mourn for the lives we lost

I was never really good at being expressive in situations like this so I didn’t really want to touch on a topic where so much emotions would just engulf me. I’m sorry if I sounded boring, but there was just no way I could maintain my composure if I hadn’t tried to contain my emotions with monotony. I made this to express how much KyoAni and their anime meant to me and the many lessons I learnt from them. And that those that have passed should know that their lifetime and even after death... their work will continue to reach and touch the hearts of many Arigato.

Great. Now we can't get K-ON! Season 3. Jokes aside, I was today years old when I figured this out, I sincerely apologize for this. We love you, KyoAni!

KyoAni made my favorite movie A Silent Voice, ah it means so much to me, this company and all their animations. I just hope we can all overcome this loss. This world is just cruel and unjust

I used to watch that violet evergarden video at the end on repeat because I thought it was just absolutely stunning and the music was as well and I was so excited for the anime. Sadly before it was released I began to drift away from anime, but I think that I should try to watch it since it’s so gorgeous and I was absolutely obsessed with it. It’s so beautiful and I think I’ll love it. I am just now hearing about this tragedy, and it’s so heartbreaking. I hope nothing like this will ever happen again to anyone especially not to such talented and amazing people who work everyday to create these beautiful masterpieces to share with the world and to give people who are lonely or just people in general, something to comfort them, and to make them not feel so lonely. Someone who brings such a gift to the world doesn’t deserve something so tragic. No one deserves it. Even though this happened 7 months ago, My love still goes out to the people who lost their lives and everyone and anyone who was affected by this. You guys truly made beautiful things that comforted me on my loneliest of summer days. Amagi brilliant park brought me so many laughs and just comforted me when I was down as did free and many others by you guys. You’re all a blessing and I hope you’re living a beautiful life in heaven. Thank you for all that you have done for the world❤️

Jesus that last part where I could not hear but feel him just like sniffing made me feel really bad for him. I also loved Nichijou, dragon maid, and lucky star (I didn’t even know they made those, still very nice anime), anyway. The situation is pretty fucked up. And for once I care about things.
