Dying Light 2 Houndsfield Substation Elevator stuck/bug fix

I am placing this comment to announce that i found your profile via a go pro down a flooded pipe video and have now mistakenly watched this video despite never even playing dying light 2 , however i did enjoy the first game and the following

Sorry it is not very precise. It is the room below the station turn on, after you have the generators plugged in. Grab the blue pipe directly below the turn on switch, jump up through the floor, and spam your square button. It should eventually activate the station prompting you onto the choose faction screen. This allows you to skip the elevator entirely if it broke. In my case I died before I turned the station on so it closed all the doors and locked the elevator up top. Anyways hope this helps. Any other bugs I run into I will upload and post a solution as well. Take care!
